It’s too bad zero stars is not an option.
I had my car at smiths after it was damaged in a storm several years ago. They kept my car for over 7 weeks (long after my insurance covered rental car ran out… which I had informed them about in the beginning). Mean while, my car sat outside, uncovered in the summer rains/​humidity the entire time. The interior was basically ruined (never smelled right again and the fabric liners delineated). They refused to do anything about the liners.
Once I got my car back, several items where not properly reinstalled and the paint primmer had misted into the car… all over the black dash board. Every time I confronted them about problems, I was told ‘That’ll go away with time’ or ‘that’s normal’.
Right after I got the car back, we had a big rain storm and the floor board of the car was full of water because they had not properly sealed the door back up. I took it back to a completely unhelpful staff. I ended up taking the door panel apart and fixing it on my own time /​dime.
Upon trading my in car recently, 2 different dealerships spotted a poor quality of workmanship on the repair and said that it devalued my car by $ 500-​$ 1000… (I’d say that was just a cheap dealer, but it wasn’t… it was 2 different reputable dealers)
I honestly don’t understand how they’ve been in business so long with work like this. I cringe every time I drive by the place. I’d highly advise staying away.
