This school is wonderful. The teachers and staff care so much for the children and offer a loving and caring environment. We have been to another daycare, and the experience at Primrose outshines the other daycare by far. The new school, healthy lunches/snacks, caring teachers, and convenience to Fort Mill make it a great place for any family.

The Primrose School in Fort Mill has been open for almost a full year and our experience has been positive. We were at another national brand school for many years before moving to Primrose and also started that school near its opening. All new schools take a little time to create a rhythm between ownership, directors, and staff as that is just part of the process. The key is ownership’s engagement in the process and their personal investment in the school. Gillian and Arty are always at the school and you can tell they remain committed to making the Primrose in Fort Mill one of the premier schools in the area. I know some of the negative reviews previously were at the school for such a short amount of time and one of them is an estranged teacher at the school. It is also suspect that the reviewer whose kid was only there a week reviewed another school down the road at the same time and they remain her only two reviews on this site. We currently have an infant, pre-schooler, and a elementary school aged kid at the school, elementary kid goes for afterschool and summer camp. Benefits of this facility over the other national brand in the area is this school provides longer hours of operation, provided breakfast/lunch/snacks, afterschool program, summer camp program, and my personal favorite is that they also provide their own linens. Transportation to and from the elementary school is also provided although my elementary school just added Primrose to the normal bus route. All of these features are very helpful with multiple children and infants! As with any new child care facility they have experienced some additional turnover but most of it was positive with either teachers accepting elementary positions or ownership moving out teachers who did not live up to the standards expected of them. Turnover is fixture of this industry but you can tell they have already started to form a core group of teachers who care for our kids. I hope soon that they start to develop core leadership and consistency within their Director ranks and that will be worth my 5th star. It took the other brand name school several years to develop consistency in the Director ranks so I expect some of the same here.

My daughter went here, and long story short it was like having a 10 year old babysitter. I picked her up one day, not only were her hands bleeding from the soup that they used I not once was I notified. I was furious she was screaming in pain, and I was up all night applying aloe leaves to her hands. Worse place to put your child!

Very bad experience! This school is not what I expected. Very expensive for the type of service they offer. Really don’t want to go into too much details, but just know this mom wasn’t pleased.
