His Barn

His Barn is the most wonderful riding stables that I have ever been to! Jill and her team provide a warm, relaxed and safe riding experience, where you can make progress at your own pace and have a really enjoyable time doing it. My husband and I have been taking trail rides at the barn for nearly a year and look forward to each ride. My husband couldn’t ride at all when we began, but now he is confident and a keen rider.
In the past as a novice rider I often felt too inexperienced to feel comfortable at many of the barns I have ridden at– I felt that I wasn’t good enough or that I didn’t fit in with more advanced riders. His Barn is completely different to that! It is inclusive and welcoming. I learn so much each time I ride at the barn and I get to spend time with the horses grooming, which is an integral part of the experience.
I would also recommend the barn for children’s lessons. As a school teacher, I have twice taken groups there for field trips and the kids have the best time. The horses are very gentle and well behaved, so the kids soon relax and have so much fun.
