Child Development Center

Shortly after writing the original review, the main «instructor» for my child was switched to a different room.
Who knew that would make all of the difference in the world!?! You know, actually having someone who LIKES babies taking care of babies! The new instructors were Ms. Cathy and Ms. Irene, both of whom seemed to care greatly for each individual baby and his/​her needs. The care for better with them. My baby grew and started interacting better, and those two continued to encourage her to explore while maintaining a watchful, safety eye. I do still feel that the pre-​toddlers are a little old for that room. I know some places move the babies out to a different room when they’re 12 months AND can walk.
My only other complaint, and it’s not so much the staff, but in the summer, there are quite a number of ants inside the rooms. I’m sure that just comes with the location. Or maybe Fort Meade can put it in their budget to update the building.
