I have been going to In Napoli for 15+ years. Although yes, it is a bit expensive, the food has always been great. We moved out of the area now but try to get back there as much as possible. It’s always a treat… too many favorites on the menu to mention.

This place pretends to be an Italian restaurant but it comes up way short. The food is marginal at best and very overpriced. The pasta sauce tastes like its out of a jar, weighted down by the taste of burnt garlic. The Wednesday night steak special looked good until I cut into the steak, it was tough, dry, and grisly. Even the bottle of Pelligrino water that I ordered was delivered warm! The wait staff was pleasant but inattentive. I would never recommend this restaurant and I would urge readers to avoid it at all costs!

Coming for years and enjoy the food a lot. Good tradition steaks and pasta. But the seafood is incredible — the sole and the calamari is exceptional But not coming back anymore — here for New Years — none of the regular people who work here were there — doesn’t feel like ‘home’ — won’t be back

My alumni club in Northern NJ holds luncheons at in Napoli, but I’d never actually dined there until a few weeks ago. Damn, I wish I’d attended those luncheons! On a random weeknight, my parents, hubby, and I were the only diners. This was after the early bird hours. The waitstaff all took turns serving us since there were more waiters than diners(us). It was a little awkward, but oh well, we enjoyed the attention. The garlic bread is decadent and the salad has a unique dressing that reminds me of pesto. Plus, the bruschetta has a wonderful topping with canellini beans, which is unexpectedly delicious. I recommend the red clam linguine and the ribeye. My husband said that the chicken parm sandwich was the best he’d ever had, but I was too busy eating the ribeye to try myself.

Don’t go there unless you like one bland sauce fits all pasta. I ordered linguini with meatball and sausage. My friend ordered Chicken Parmesan. Pasta sauce is bland and watery. Pasta texture is OK. My meatball is mushed but tastes homemade. My sausage is definitely from the supermarket. Sausages from the street fair are 10x better. Chicken Parmesan chicken is fried with re-used oil. The color is so dark. It’s covered with burned cheese that doesn’t melt. Service is very slow. You can expect a 2+ hours dinner easily. So if you are in rush, Napoli isn’t a place for you.

I called this morning around 11am(ish) to book a christening and I couldn’t believe my ears when a woman on the other end picked up the phone. She just answered an abrupt«HELLO?!?» when she picked up and I paused for a second and she continued on «WHATDOYOUWANT?!?» I then hung up because I assumed I may have dialed the wrong number but I did not. When I called back I stated that I wanted to book a christening and she interrupted me by saying that I ‘was taking too long to spit a sentence out’ I paused again and calmly asked for a manager. And she yelled again«THEREISNOONEHERE. I HAVE A PHONERINGING. WHATDOYOUWANT?!?» I then said that I wanted to book a christening but I didn’t appreciate the way she was speaking to me and will take my business elsewhere. Then she just hung up. I’m going to assume that this woman is probably the owner’s mother or a family member where one would keep such a despicable employee staffed when there are so many other people who are in need of a job. I had a party of 75 people that I wanted to have and this restaurant lost out on that business because of the terrible attitude of the woman who answered the phone. It’s a shame with the ample amount of Italian restaurants in New Jersey that they would do what they can to serve paying customers

I love Italian food in general. In Napoli had a very warm, welcoming setting with romantic lighting. One of the things that makes this restaurant great is their complimentary bruschetta and salad that comes with any entrees you order! YOUHAVETOTRYTHECOMPLIMENTARYSALADTHEYGIVEYOU! It is so good they even sell the dressing if you want to take some home! A glass of wine, a good company with this place is a must! :)

Place is awesome. Everything about the service from start to finish made me smile. Their cappuccino is to die for. Their pizza is delicious. We got the luncheon special with tortolinni and I felt like I was in Napoli. I’m so full I can’t type anymore

The only thing noteworthy was the Grilled Calamari. But other than that, it was mediocre. I went before dinner time so the service was good in the beginning. But once more people started coming in, the service became very mediocre. The waiter sat in another table with some guests and started talking and didn’t really care for us at the end. I also tried the NY lamb chops and zappa di pesce. They were very mediocre. The lamb chop was very chewy and sort of dry. The zappa di pesce, which is like seafood in marinara sauce over linguine, was very dry. The seafood was definitely not fresh. But if you do go, do try the Grilled Calamari. It was very flavorful and calamari seemed fresh. In the end, I don’t think I’ll be returning there any time soon.

I came here for my 25th birthday and I forgot to leave a review of how great of an experience I had! First of all, their complimentary salad is to die for. It’s definitely not something out of the ordinary but the salad was very fresh and topped with an assortment of toppings. I would go back just for their salad! For my entrée, I ordered the Linguine Zuppa De Mussels with white sauce. This pasta dish was delicious! I actually went back the next weekend to get some more, need I say more? If you’re there with a party and have room for dessert, definitely try the red velvet cake, my friends were raving about it all night! Will be coming back again ^^

The home of the 8 $ double espresso The most expensive double espresso to date, and no there’s was no gold plated cups either. The restaurant looks a little outdated but the most important thing is the food, the tomato sauce for the calamari was bland and so was the horseradish crusted red snapper, absolutely tasteless . Huge disappointment, hope they can get some work done on their menu.

My husband and I went there on Thursday dinner and we sat down in the booth next to the bar counter area. We could tell most of the customers at the bar area were regular and knew each other very well. Love the old fashion atmosphere there even though the booth couch have some duck tape patches lol Ordered NY strip stake and Loved it! So tender and juicy. Oh their french fries are the BOMB! SOGOOD! But two things I didn’t like about were 1. Silverware and the wine glass were really sticky 2. Probably because they were busy, but took forever to bring our check Overall, I will still recommend to go there:)

Came with my girlfriend last night for dessert only. The manager, who was friendly on the phone, had OK’d this, giving the the advisory that we should come after 9 P.M. because the crowd would be lighter then. The tiramisu and chocolate mousse were fabulous, but moreover, we noticed how friendly and courteous each of the staff were, particularly our server. We were treated at least as equally, if not better than, the others who were there for an entire meal, and decided we would like to come back to try all the food. Great atmosphere, and people were really enjoying themselves. We left very happy. A great find in Fort Lee.

Yes I know the décor reminds one of an old age home. However there is no place that makes a veal chop parmigiana like InNapoli. Love the salad and the garlic bread.

Visiting good friends in Fort Lee this evening. Been coming to In Napoli now for 10 years or so. Always been impressed by the bar as it is inviting and with the multiple TV screens my football need was satisfied. Staff is cordial and capable. Although service can suffer on busy nights like tonight as it was packed. Food is generally very good with Seafood being fresh and well prepared. Tonight I had a veal dish — Parmesan with pasta that was awesome. Three large pieces of veal and I took two home with me. The standard house salad for the table is always a hit. I will be back.

Was here on a Tuesday for the 22 $ lobster night and was happily surprised. I can’t believe it was the first time I’ve been here. It’s a quiet location, bar on the right side and restaurant on the left. As soon as we sat down we got bread and a delicious bruschetta that had beans in it. We ordered a bottle of Chilean Merlot which was great and the waiter presented it properly. I got the 1 ¼ lb lobster scampi style with rice and my friend got it fra diavolo style with linguini. After we ordered came a house salad. The lobster came with mussels and clams also. It was good, except that the sauce was SOSALTY. Like my friend couldn’t even eat his salty. Mine was bearable but still… wtf. I let the waiter know but this seems to be a trend because before I had gone my sister had told me it was terribly salty. Alas I forgot to ask for very little salt as I ordered.(I’m not a big fan of salty). But besides that everything else was great. Service was attentive and my waiter was pleasant and onderful. So the moral of the story is… ASKFORLESSSALT!!! Will definitely be back!

This is my favorite local Italian spot– been coming here forever and never had a bad meal. I’ve tried most things on the menu but I think I broke the record for the times I’ve come for lobster night. They have a great special. Mon and Weds are steak night and Tues and Thurs are lobster night! For $ 21.95 per person you get bruschetta to start, garlic bread, a huge salad with their famous basil dressing and a lobster! Oh and a side(choice of pasta, baked potato and veggies). I always get a baked potato. Usually I love my lobster steamed with nothing but melted buttah but at naps I get it scampi style. The sauce is amazing. The lobster also comes with clams and mussels. It’s the never ending dinner. The lobster, clams and mussels are always fresh and I’ve never been disappointed. They also have a great happy hour 5 – 7 with $ 5 food/drink specials. Also the HBIC, Flo is amazing. I’ll be back!!!

Went here tonight for some good food after being ill all week. And it paid off. Being it was a Friday it got crowded, but the waiters stayed on top of things all night. The entrees include a huge bowl of serve yourself very fresh mixed greens with a lovely Italian herb based oil and vinegar dressing. Plus slices of homemade bruschetta with added white and red beans was on the table. Oh so fresh and tasty. I chose the Veal Marsala over rice with asparagus roasted in a parmesan coating. The veal could be cut with my fork and the mushrooms loaded the plate. It was so wonderful. Real elegant quality comfort food. The table also had a loaf of homemade garlic bread which I used for my Veal Marsala sandwich leftovers. Mmm. A nice and light ice cream Tartuffe topped off the meal perfectly. The entrée was $ 22, asparagus $ 5.50 and dessert $ 6.00. It was all so reasonable for a Fort Lee quality restaurant, which BTW, had table clothes and that family run atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back for more, and you should really GOTHERE!
