All fluff, no substance. Don’t let the interior décor fool you. Bought a canoli, madeleine and a bubble tea. Canoli was soggy, the madeleine were inedible. Both way past their shelf life. Bubble tea too sweet. One star added for the coffee. Service wasn’t great on top of the bad products. Avoid and go next door to the tea shop.

I mostly come here to study, and less for the food, so I can’t comment much on the desserts and their drinks. Their regular coffee is perfectly fine to me. I’ve been coming here sporadically for the past two years to study. At first it was because I lived right next to it, but I’ve even come all the way here from NYC during finals week. The seats near the windows are the best because there are outlets. WiFi is pretty fast, and you can stay however long as you like! The longest I have stayed was 8 hours(but of course i make sure to buy more than just 1 cup of coffee). The WiFi used to be flaky and outlets were always taken, but the WiFi has been stable for the past half year, and they added extension outlets!

Very spacious, nice décor and ambiance, not loud so good for conversation. Came for some caffeine, but wasn’t sure what I wanted. I was excited to see a cinnamon pumpkin latte advertised but then the lady said they didn’t have it. So I said what about a pumpkin latte, she said no to that too.): False advertising. They should really update those signs on the register. Had gotten my hopes up. Settled for a caramel latte which was pretty good so I’ll give them that. Also my friend does come here a lot so that says something. They have ample parking and a wide variety of desserts and drinks, other than not having the cinnamon pumpkin latte. I’ll have to come back and try the other stuff.

It says closing time is at 11. I come pretty often during the evening time because they close late but even during the weekdays they say they close at like 10:15 or 10:20 and kick everyone out. Unacceptable. I don’t feel like going there now. It’s unfortunate because I really like the café and staff but if they’re going to close early so they can leave work early that’s really unfair for the customers.

Decided to get some dessert after dinner on Valentine’s day and did not regret it. 1. The price is a little much for a slice of cake but since I don’t indulge often with desserts it was worth it 2. I got the pistachio cheesecake and it had actual pieces of pistachios in it. I thought the frosting was a a tad sweet, However, the cheesecake was perfect(creamy, soft and not too sweet) and the crust was just right… not too thin but not too thick.

Huge location with a lot of comfortable chairs for chatting with a friend or studying. The service was great as well and made a few good recommendations.

I was just waiting at the counter for someone to help me and the three idiots working there were chatting and giggling not even bothering to see a customer standing there waiting to be served. Note to owner: fire these useless children and hire people that actually can do their job. Will never go back here.

I was craving some bubble tea after having lunch with my family. The inside is quite large and spacious and there were plenty of people sitting around working and studying. FYI, they provide free WiFi. I ordered Bubble Tea(Milk Tea Latte Style) and it was delicious. My mother also got some pastries to take home as did I. Their pastry options seemed a little limited but maybe because it was the late afternoon. Also, it’s a little pricey but well worth it. They had some other great looking dishes and I look forward to returning one day.

A good place to grab bubble tea after eats. This is one of the few places that doesn’t overload on the sugar, which is a delicate like. They have gelato that they serve here as well which is very tasty. Real cozy atmosphere, feels like a wide open cabin/library combined. You’ll get what I mean when you enter the building. It’s usually packed on weekends(if you’re trying to grab a table) but that doesn’t bother me. Usually in here just to grab a latte or something sweet and then head out. Their waffle combos for breakfast are really good as well.

Great place to study if you dont mind the chatter! There are always many many students studying at this café. I think the atmosphere, décor, high ceiling, etc help you study lol The food is sub par, but the drinks are good. Sometimes the iced coffee is really watered down. When it is I tell the person at the counter and they just add more coffee. Ehh It makes a little less watered down coffee. Great casual café to meet up with friends and chat!

Their mango gelato tastes like actual mango. I’m absolutely obsessed! The mango berry mojito was so refreshing. They had actual pieces of mango at the bottom which made it even better!

Well the place has awesome décor. Like the whole set up is nice, woodsy, clean and neat. The bubble tea here is nice. Dessert is not bad, and the food here is okay. Really nothing to write home about lol. The prices are much to high for what you get here.(My opinion) The ambience is nice here gives off a libary vibe but social and hip. I also like how you feel like you are in another country here lol 2 and a half stara because I do love the ambience here and the staff provides great service.

Order: $ 13.95 Berry Good Cheese Cake Ice Parfait — Seasonal Special I decided to stop by Caffe Bene for some sweet after dinner. I saw the sign promoting seasonal desert and give it a try for something new. In terms of presentation wise, it looks pretty. It came with a scoop of Strawberry gelato and a small slice of Cheese cake. Besides, adding strawberry syrup, they also include fresh strawberries. Yes remaining would be shaved ice and condensed milk. I would say this Ice Parfait taste so good and so refreshing. For the price $ 14 of this Ice Parfait, I feel like this is not worth it. This is way ripped off. One star deduct from here. I feel like all the stuff they put, probably they are making at least 10 dollar net profits or more. You can go to some other places for a cheaper shaved ice. For people like me never tied shaved ice at Caffe Bene, should consider try at least one time but not second time.

$$$$ for lousy drinks. Don’t come here if you’re looking for good lattes/coffees/teas… it’s really just a non-alki hangout spot. For those who come here to use WiFi for 8 hours, I’m sure $ 4.50 for a small green tea latte doesn’t sound so bad. The dessert is also mediocre — If you want Korean bakery items, go to Paris Baguette 2 streets over.

The service is super slow and they are definitely short staffed. This place is almost always crowded or full with occasional seating but compared to the crowd the staff seems very short staffed. I ordered a regular coffee, iced misugaru latte and one scoop of ice cream and I had to remind them of our order twice and ask them to scoop the ice cream. I mean i felt bad since the workers behind the counter seemed stressed already from the piling orders, but I’ve experienced similar service almost every single time I come in here. They usually give you a beeper to let you know your order is ready but it takes forever. I mean the food and coffee is not much different from your typical korean café. If you have alot of time to spare go ahead and stop by but otherwise I’d skip it completely. The only good thing is seating area?

I only come here to kill time, people watch, and get a misagaru latte. The misagura tasted like blended burnt crackers and I love it. Supposedly, its a old people drink because it has lots of fiber and gives you power like a tiger. I don’t really get anything else beside that drink. I usually eat elsewhere.

Caffe bene is great because it has parking and lots of seats. It has a nice décor and many seats. It also has many plugs for students, also free wifi. bring cash because there is a $ 10 minimum. Caffe bene can get super packed and loud during the rush hours, which doesn’t make this place the best place to study. bene has many dessert options and drinks, including smoothies. with all the Korean bakeries there is one thing that they specialize in and for caffe bene its their toasts and waffles. my favorite is the cinnamon with whipped cream. Also they also have hot sandwiches and my favorite is the gochujang chicken one.

Was that supposed to be chicken? This review is based on a fake chicken sandwhich. I ordered the Korean BBQ Spicy Chicken Sandwhich — it was on a really good baggette, however the Chicken was of frozen preformed rib meat quality. The chicken essentially had that chewy, rubbery texture that had a lot of moisture in it. I would have figued that a sandwhich that demanded over $ 7(not sure how much but it wasnt cheap) would have a real chicken breast — that was grilled or something like that — not a fake microwave imposter. Also got the Taro bubble tea which was good. I think the place is stronger in the specialty drinks, teas and baked items vs thier sandwhiches — especially the BBQ sandwhich.

Crappy coffee, expensive desserts. But there is free wifi. And it is a bit nicer to sit here than your average Starbucks. Had a choco devil bing-su. It’s really big, but it’s mostly shaved iced, so it’s a bit expensive at $ 12. Kinda hard to mess up something made of brownie, oreo, hot fudge, red bean, and vanilla ice cream so it tastes good.
