West Pines Vehicle Service Center

So being new to the area I looked at Unilocal for a local mechanic and found these guys. Spoke with Ricky (nice guy) and brought my car in for service. After keeping my car for a week and a half (after telling me it would be back to me in four days), I picked it up late on last Saturday afternoon. I brought it back on Monday, because the check engine light was on when my wife drove the car home. I pulled in and was having a very nice and congenial conversation with Ricky when out of nowhere another guy comes up and starts to verbally accost me. Stating that he is Ricky’s partner and he handles the «back» of the operation and Ricky only handles the front. He then states that he wants me out of his hair and now. He then asks what type of work I do and when I told him he responded that at this place it is his rules that are followed. I told him, look, just want to know why the check engine light is on, no big deal. He responded that he could do it but will do it when he feels he wants to do it. I mentioned that the light was on when I picked up the car and since I asked them to give the car a «once over» to see what shape it is in they should have at least checked out why the light was on. This guy then responded that I didn’t bring the car into the shop to check the engine light but for something else and that’s the work they did! I finally left telling them I can spend my money elsewhere at a shop that will appreciate my business. I still don’t know why I was accosted in such a manner and have never had an experience like this in my life. BTW — the car stalled out on the road the day after I picked it up and was concerned it might have something to do with the check engine light. Don’t really know the quality of their work but the quality of their customer service is horrible and accosting customers who had a legitimate concern and was involved in a friendly conversation (no raised voices) with Ricky is totally inappropriate. Why go to a place to be verbally abused for doing nothing. Take your business elsewhere!

Great service, honest pricing, no b.s. about what you don’t need to have repaired. Fair pricing and the best repairs at a fraction of the dealership. This is the only place I will take my vehicles.

If you are looking for honest, trustworthy, competent, and friendly automotive mechanics, these guys are, hands down, the best!

I know I’ve said this before but these guys are the best! Always sucks when things go wrong with my car but I NEVER have to worry about getting price gouged or hustled with this place! You are treated as if you’re family and they go above and beyond for customers! Wouldn’t think of going elsewhere !! RUDY AND RICKY THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!!

Took my car there on Saturday for a diagnostics and was told couldn’t get to it until Monday (I understand) but after 6 days still no estimate so I went and picked up my car. I would call and always got the runaround by the owners wife Dily, told me would call me back and never did. If you don’t want my business just say so and I will take it elsewhere in which I did and my car was FIXED within 2 hours… I just don’t get people… Placed same review on their Facebook page and was removed immediately

Hard to find a good mechanic. Found one here in Ricky. Fast honest service. Have had oil changes, changed brakes, new tires, a/​c service and all have been great and at fair prices. None of the gimmicky sales pitches you get from a dealership or franchise.

It is hard to find a mechanic that you can trust but you can trust Ricky and his mechanic to do the job right at a fair price. The reason I brought my car there was, I got a high estimate from my dealer and wanted a second option. They were half the amount the dealer told me and some of the repairs the dealer quote me were not needed.
I trust these guys.

Best place in South Florida for automotive service. We drive 37 miles from Boca to these guys. They TRULY care about their customers!
They have always gone out if their way to keep costs down for us and still preform repairs and maintenance optimally. It’s really awesome to be able to completely trust our mechanic. Take your car here, you’ll be glad you did.
