Went to Thursday’s for the first time on Sunday. Very impressive décor and location is good if you know where to park… otherwise valet is $ 10. Service was slow and the waiter very inattentive. We sat for long periods of time without any interaction From the waiter. It took a while for him to take our order and if he was friendlier it would have been more forgiving. The arugula salad was excellent, the house salad was very good but too plain for me. Although the dressing was perfect, I prefer more than lettuce. The 2 trout almandine entre’s were very overcooked & coated with a crust… not moist or edible. The salmon special was tasteless and also overcooked. Those who chose the lamb shank and polenta hit the jackpot. I never tasted a better shank anywhere. Had the waiter returned to the table I would have sent the trout back. He said he came down from Canada to help out, but he should have stayed there if this is what they call service. The worse waiter I ever had. The music was great, but it should have started a bit quieter and worked up to night club music gradually. We couldn’t hear each other talk so that made the night more grueling. We couldn’t wait to leave, but again, it took the waiter forever to ask and serve desert and coffee… and bring the bill. A total of 3 hours from the time we were seated until the bill came. The mango sorbet was excellent!

I have been coming with a party of 10 for the last month on a Saturday night. We’ve had a great variety of their menu and with the exception Of a rather anemic onion soup and disappointing calamari, the food Has been quite good. Living a few blocks away we have seen live music for quite awhile and wanted to join in. Tonight, after weeks of live music and dancing between courses, we settled in and found a DJ running the show. I complained to Savannah and she sent the owner over. An apology would have been in order. Every week for the last month my party has danced to live music. Why would I expect otherwise tonight? No, the owner pompously said. I should have called to see what was happening on stage tonight. Had he handled our disappointment properly by apologizing, we surely would resume our weekly evening out. Now, we will move on to another restaurant where our custom is appreciated.

Thursday’s on las olas Blvd a welcome place for locals to have a great dinner, nice ambience with live music and great service with a sophisticated French touch. We were 4 person sitting not far from the open kitchen, we had escargot and spicy clam appetizer follow by rack of lamb and fresh salmon of the day of out French waiter recommendation, the wine selection was also a nice suggestion, we will definitely go back, it’s also better to make a reservation because this place do get busy.

What a find! This new French restaurant has a great atmosphere and excellent food and service. The duck was delectable, crispy on the outside and delicate on the inside. The chef catered to the 2 vegan dinners with a specialty menu of Amazing tastes. A must. Live music and dancing Thursday through Saturday. Can’t wait to go back.

Thursday’s on Las Olas ~ Don’t come for dinner!!! I want to start my review by saying I have never written a negative review before. I have only used Unilocal or Trip Advisor to praise a business. With that being said, I now have my first negative review. We were a party of 6 on a Saturday night. Upon entering we were impressed with the décor and really enjoyed the bar, as well as the band. Feeling a «good vibe» we were excited to try a new restaurant and hoped the food would be as great as our bar experience was, Not so much. We were seated 45 minutes late as our reso was for 8:30 and we were seated at 9:15. Service was very slow, we finally ordered our meals. My friend and I split an entrée and a salad for our appetizer, another friend ordered an appetizer and only a salad for dinner(due to her dietary restrictions) another ordered an appetizer and a soup for dinner and my husband ordered an appetizer and a full dinner. My scallops were inedible, we explained to the waiter that there was something«not right» with our order, he never asked if we wanted anything else. He just took it away. The soup was cold and we asked for it to please be warmed. The waiter never brought it back! Service was so slow and our waiter was not accommodating. Feeling like there was a total lack of communication, my friend decided to go speak with the owner. This is where my review gets negative. What a poor excuse for an owner! This man was rude, unprofessional and actually allowed the waiter to speak ill of us due to the fact that we shared a dinner and someone only ordered a salad! He never apologized for the waiter, never even tried to make us feel like our opinion mattered. We truly only wanted to give constructive criticism in hopes that perhaps it would help for a new restaurant to be successful. He didn’t have the decency to validate our concerns. He was just awful. I would never, ever attempt to try this restaurant again. It’s a big fat FAIL in my book! To reiterate, don’t attempt dinner!

Right on Las Olas but a few blocks east from all the action this French restaurant has beautiful warm décor a little on the heavy side but it all works together for a French bistro. It’s the food and the service that counts the most and they deliver both. We came here for lunch, the weather was pleasant for a change and we decided to sit outside. Our server was super friendly and accommodating suggesting popular dishes on the menu and describing the specials. The basket of bread was so good we couldn’t stop eating it and it was gone before the appetizers arrived. The French onion soup was served just like they do in France with little cheese instead of totally covering the entire soup cup which I didn’t mind because the broth was very very good with just enough onions and the bread inside the soup was nice and soft and crusty on top. The spinach dip dish was amazing beautifully presented inside the bread bowl with vegetable on the side. Highly recommend. The mussels were superb in a light creamy garlicky wine sauce with caramelized onions on top. Did not have the desert(I know, I know, impossible for a desert junky) but I do intend to go back and try it next time. Will let you know how it goes unless you beat me to it !

Thursday’s on Las Olas Blvd was simply a joy. Both the food, location, atmosphere and crowd are simply impressive. The menu has something for everyone. I had the Shrimp Dinner and side Greek salad which was superb. Others at our Table had a variety of fish dinners and they were equally impressed. We will all go back for sure.

I just love this new spot off the«scene» of las olas. The décor is very cool, the staff is off the charts helpful, friendly and prompt. I brought a group there for happy hour(which is 2 for 1 until 8pm!) and everyone loved it. Their spinach dip is a bread bowl has me craving more and more it’s so good. Finally, a place that’s cool and fun minus the sh@t show of south las olas.

I’ve been waiting for a good French restaurant in Fort Lauderdale for quite some time now. Great food! Their escargot is the biggest I’ve ever had! Quite delicious too. I really enjoyed their steak tartare as well. Would like to see some more fish options though. The décor is beautiful too.

We ended up here very randomly and we were very well surprised! Service was good and quick… and the food is amazingly good. We had a Steak Tartare, Escargots, Trout Meniere and NY Steak with Bearnaise Sauce… everything was absolutely delicious. And Thursday’s on Thursdays offers 50% off on wine bottles! We’ll be back every Thursday!

My new favorite restaurant downtown! Everything perfect to me: easy parking, kind hostess, perfect waiter, perfect food! I also like that place because the music is not too loud: you can eat and talk without screaming: This is really important to me… Recommendation of the waiter for the wine was also perfect. What I also like is the decoration and the beautiful chandeliers. I highly recommend this place!

On the recommendation of some Foodie friends we did a lunch. It was excellent in all respects. In a few words, one of the very few restaurants on Las Olas worth eating at. Ingredients are excellent, the chef knows how to cook. It’s a «lightened» French menu with its roots placed firmly in France. Robust without being excessive. The fact that the 2 tables next to us were speaking French, without complaining, was a nice endorsement. We did the onion soup and spicy clams followed by a duck confit and fish and chips. Every item on the plates was excellent, cooking was excellent. Rather than go into each item I will simply sum it up with each item was the best example we’ve had in Fort Lauderdale. I’m not ready to give it 5 stars as we have yet to establish consistency. Based on this lunch, it’s definitely a restaurant we will revisit. Wine list is short but both our choices, a French Pinot and a Piedmontese Moscato were lovely. Service was polite and attentive. To the owner, thank you. It’s nice to find a restaurant on Las Olas that’s actually worth going to for the menu, ingredients and cooking.

Visited this establishment tonight for happy hour. Had a great time. Mandy was our bartender, she was awesome. Best happy hour in town. Service was amazing, food was great(poutine needs thicker fries, extra sauce and more real curd cheese to be authentic). Being raised in Montréal knowing Thursdays as a staple on cresent street, it’s great to have this restaurant here locally. So many memories when I walked in, to the chandeliers to the crocodiles… Met with the owner and his daughter tonight. Very down to earth people. This restaurant will do very well in the future, I have no doubt in my mind. Having the Canadian background is a total plus. Good luck, you are going to do amazing!

I read a very negative review about this establishment, but as with everything I wanted to try it for myself. We came for brunch and met the owner upon entering. Nice gentleman and did a very nice job with the décor. Is it over the top for Fort Lauderdale? Maybe, but sometimes a budweiser town needs a champagne taste now and then. We ordered the French onion soup and the omelette of the day. They were both excellent. French onion was light not too salty, the omelette fresh and the service spot on. Our waiter checked on us often and was quick with recommendations. The basket of French bread they brought was hot fresh and great. The owner was checking in the tables and although he didn’t check on our table, I wasn’t offended like some reviewers in Unilocal. We had a great brunch and we will be back. The prices are very comparable to the other restaurants on Las Olas. One lady’s review saying 8 dollars for a glass of wine was obnoxious must be drinking Boone Farm or Nightrain… maybe Zima in the 80s. A glass of wine at a Las Olas restaurant is 8 to 12 dollars at any location, so I would discount everything else in her review. Sounds like in work here or I’m friends with the owner. But negative on both, I just get frustrated with dumb Unilocal reviews with nonsensical ramblings. By the way cotton candy on Sundays… the fat kid in me says YEEESSSSSS.

These people who have such few stars were truly wrong. They came on the soft opening. Free food for friends and family, but the owner opened up the door to the public for free to be generous. It was not supposed to be regular service … However they tried to accommodate all. Either way, I’ve been here three times since and I can honestly say WOW!!! I had the seafood bouillabaisse and my sister in law the steak. She’s very difficult and said this was the best ever. They also had good olé American food. Finally a real restaurant on Las Olas that isn’t touristy with truly awesome food at a great price… The bar is beautiful and the place felt welcoming … I’ve been for dinner and lunch! Will be here for brunch too!

Opening night and staff was organized, friendly. And efficient. Beautiful décor. Downside… pricing. $ 8 for a glass of wine. $ 12 for guacamole made of maybe one avocado!!! Complete ripoff when I can go down the street and have table side made guacamole for the same price and a much larger portion. Nothing seemed appealing on menu. Steaks are high $ 30’s -$ 40 which is what you would pay at a real steakhouse. They are going to start offering HH soon with two for one drinks. My friend had the hot lava cake and it wasn’t enough for two people to share. I was disappointed since they spent so much time renovating the space. Not sure how they will survive with the current menu options.
