Always a pleasant and valued experience with Doris! What more could one ask for except for the earlier price for a basic haircut. The prices need to be rolled back. It is becoming more competitive out there.

Always in and out of this salon very quickly. Never had a bad haircut. They have raised prices for a haircut to 17 dollars, which is pricey considering most barber shops are 10 to 12 dollars. But the speed of the haircut makes it worth it for me.

Ducked in for a haircut and it was a fine time, here’s why:
* From entry to finished, I was in and out in under 30 minutes. SCORE! I do not wait.
* Evelyn was friendly without being over chatty. SCORE!
* Clean and colorful operation. The hair-back was sweeping up constantly.
$ 16 bucks, plus tip.

I used to be a big fan of Supercuts. Cheap, no wait, and simple. I have very simple hair needs and I have no problem telling them how to do it the way I like. But I’m falling a bit less in love with Supercuts. Barely 15 minutes for a $ 16 cut, plus a $ 2 tip. That’s not cheap.

You go here to get your hair cut, not styled — never styled. No, this is not a barbershop, but I think it is the 20^th century, unisex replacement of the barbershop. What separates these people that cut hair from the barbers of yesterday and the stylists of today — vision and passion.
Over time, I have learned to describe how to cut my hair using the proper guard setting and while using the proper terminology. Why you ask? If I don’t, I get the haircut that is in the mind of the person cutting my hair — and they all only have one haircut in mind if you aren’t getting it all cut down to stubble.
So, if you are just looking for a cheap haircut and you know how to direct, this is the place for you. Otherwise, head to a true barber or stylist that knows how to cut YOUR hair by differentiating the shape of your head and hair type. I will continue to return because I can describe and I tend to use the same person… so they learn.
