Subway

Had I gone to the restroom before eating, I might’ve run for the hills. Instead I arrived and Subway for a quick meal since I was in the neighborhood and ordered a turkey, bacon, avocado sub on a 6″ flatbread.
I’m sorry, last time I checked good customer service didn’t include a full attitude as a perk. Oh let me also have a cup for water as well, please, I said. «We don’t have water cups but I’ll add a bottle of water to the order.» Umm sure you don’t, also thanks for assuming instead of asking, whatever… I need the water so I’ll pay for the bottle, thanks!
The avocado sauce which they claim to be in season tastes like crap (bland and pastelike) and the lunch meat, not so stellar as in most Subways I guess.
Attempted to open the women’s restroom door after eating to wash my hands. Locked but no one inside. A little woman peeked over the counter and says, «You have to use the men’s.» Umm ok, so I knock and pull. No response but also locked. She then rolls her eyes and comes over with a key. Again, I’m sorry to make you people WORK! What a concept. She lets me in and I almost need a shower after seeing the restroom. Unflushed toilet AND urinal, mosquitos flying around, and the sink itself looked like a person covered in dirt bathed themselves in it.
Needless to say I turned around and walked straight out, all the way to the car. Never again!!! I’m starting to feel indigestion, not sure if from the food or my overall reaction to this place. Someone please shut them down!

(2.50 stars) Full weeks in Fort Lauderdale were frequent during the past 15 months, and few didn’t find me picking up dinner from this Subway at least once. I’m a bit surprised at Tianiee’s experiences with what I will presume to be the lunchtime staffing here, as the dinnertime staff couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating. Their ingredients are fresh, and I’ve always found this location to be a particularly good Subway. The park across the street is, because of its proximity to the Greyhound station, a campground for homeless folks after dark. I’ve walked across this park alone dozens of times without incident; I’m built like an overage linebacker, and this may not be a great idea for everybody.

I go here at least once a week to get my Subway on. But my goodness these people have nothing but attitudes. All I ask for is to have my sub made how I like it with no big glop of chipotle sauce and mustard. But oh no, it’s a big issue. Looks like I will have to find a nicer Subway to do business with
