Spy Shops

So whoever the other person was to write there negative review is crazy. This place is great. They have the best gadgets, everything you need to do what you want. They have great customer service and are extremely knowledgeable of the products they carry. Give it a shot and check them out.

Ok, so I first came here with a friend to help another friend out that wanted to «spy» on her boyfriend. We ended up going and found the little shop very interesting! The two girls working there were friendly, talkative, and helpful… or so I thought! They ended up selling me a voice recorder that was «the best» and «rare», etc. It was good and got the job done for my friend. (It was about $ 259)
However, not «the best» or «rare». It was more like OVERPRICED and could be found in CIRCUIT CITY (for ONLY about $ 49)! One week later I was in Circuit City and randomly came across the SAME exact one I purchased at the Spy Shop! I felt like such an ass and completely taken advantage of.
After finding the receipt I called the store and left a message. About two days later someone called me back. I said I did not want to return it, since I had already used it, but that I found it unethical to charge someone so much more then it’s worth. I thought it would be fair if they gave me some sort of credit. The response I basically got was that it was too bad and I shouldv’e checked before I bought it.
My response to them and my advice to you… DO NOT BUY A THING FROM THAT PLACE!
