Just an FYI — this place has been closed for a few years now. Plz update. CLOSED. No Longer operational. Don’t come — business shut down. Too bad — we had a blast when we were there in September 2015. Not a piano bar but our favs to eat were Coconuts walking distance from Beach Place and Arubas on Lauderdale-by-the-Sea.

I was in on a Sunday night from 7:30 to 10:00. The bar was slow but the entertainer(Paul Creed) was very talented. He played mostly Billy Joel and Elton John songs, which is great after all of the Electronic Dance music friendly places in South Florida. Our waiter was also very friendly, attentive and professional.

We had an amazing time! During our recent trip to Fort Lauderdale, we decided to give this place a try. At about 8pm, we were close to the only people in the bar, but it began to pick up by 9 or 930. We had an awesome time! The gentlemen at the pianos were highly entertaining, funny, and personable. The service was great too! We’ll be back the next time that we’re in Florida!

Great customer service. Very up front and friendly staff. Had a great time with my out of town friends. Very fun and active entertainment. Only complaint is the gentlemen in the restroom is rude.

Heard about the place on Groupon. I love dueling pianos so we thought we would go! 3 of us walked up to the front door and the doorman asked for our ID and said $ 5 cover each. I have no problem paying cover for good places with great music, however the place was 7⁄8 empty so we weren’t even sure if we wanted to go in. So I said to the doorman«Even for locals?» His response was«yes, or you could go next door to Big Kahuna with the blacks!» That comment alone makes me never ever want to visit this place again and I just moved up to Fort Lauderdale. I have never heard something so rude before from one establishment to another. So guess what we did… went next door and spent our money elsewhere. Do not patronize and condone this behavior. I will also be reporting this to Groupon.

It’s not my piece of cake but I have to be fare that’s why 3*. First we walked in we were asked if we have reservation. Honestly I wouldn’t think that this place needs a reservation, it’s a big bar with bar food., then we were stamped and a guy told us to talk to an owner to get a table. I asked if we could just sit at the bar. So we sat at the so called bar, and for a very long time none came to ask us for order. So my husband gets up and gets us drinks. Which were very strong just the way I like them., it was 2 for 1. Then we wanted to order food, half of the items were crossed out, but when we ordered existing items half of them were not available. So we ended up having just one dish which was very good., The feel of the place is very touristy., people are getting drunk by the minute and having a good time., Music…not my piece of cake. Musicians are not bad but not the greatest. They are trying though to entertain the crowed and succeed. My biggest problem was the service. It’s doesnt exist much when you don’t sit at the table. A girl who ended up bringing us food was really sweet, but her absence during the whole night was at least weird. Will I come back? Only with out of town guests. I can’t call this place tourist trap though this place right across the beach and in very touristy area, but prices are great and drinks are strong.,

If you’re in the mood for silly, it’s fun. You have to participate and sing along, clap, let loose or it’s pointless. This is not for people who are too cool to get involved. The only downer(and it’s a big one for me personally) was the periodic disrespect for women. I’m sure it was all in jest, meant playfully, but certain things really did rub me the wrong way. I’m lighthearted and easy going, but I dunno — that sort of thing, the level of it, felt out of place and was unnecessary. Maybe it was just that evening.

The service was ok and drinks were nothing crazy, but this place earned 5 stars from me based solely on the music. The musicians were really talented and entertaining! Can’t wait to go back. Really fun night out!

Went for a friends Birthday Party. Service was horrible, not entirely the Servers fault as he was the only Server we saw working the entire floor, including 3 Birthday Parties. Very understaffed which sets their employees up for failure. We didn’t even have an opportunity to order an appetizer. My husband and I walked out with a $ 120.00 bar tab(which was wrong). Bathroom was a joke. If you didn’t give the unhappy«lady» money before you washed your hands, you get NO soap and NO paper towels. Disgraceful! PS… Unilocal says you pay $ 8.00 for parking, we had to pay $ 25.00. What a disappointment. On a brighter note, the atmosphere and music was very nice. Would try again, but with a smaller party.

I went here last Friday with about 15 friends. Let me say that this used to be Howl at the Moon, which is the same concept of the two piano players. For being a Friday night, it was not that packed. Service was very slow even though there were not that many people(my table of 15) and a bachelorette party were the big parties there and boy were they crazy, although everyone else was more subdued. The reason they get 3 stars and not 2 is, as others have said, you get a 2 for 1 drink deal when you check in, plus they validate your parking for $ 8.00 which helps if you end up going to other places in BeachPlace after. I will probably end up going back if it’s a group setting(birthday, etc) but not for any other reasons.

EHHHHHH, I almost went with 4 stars but stuck with 3. Here’s the deal… On the plus side, they have a Unilocal check-in deal(Buy 1 get 1 drink) Bonus! The service was pretty quick and friendly. There was a decent crowd, about ½ locals– ½ tourists. My problem was with the piano dudes. They had decent musical ability but I swear we gave them about 8 songs, each with a $ 5 attached and they didn’t play shit. I guess they win, we stayed a little over an hour with the guy closest to us giving us the«1» finger, like your song is coming right up… no luck there so here’s your mediocre review. Remember the locals keep your asses fed when the snowbirds leave town!!!

This place was HARDTOFIND. It’s weird, seeing as the address puts it in Beach Place, but even hearing the pianos-it was hard to locate in the infrastructure. I enjoy piano bars but this one is much much smaller than the ones I’ve patronized in DC. It has a more intimate feel you could say. We had a group event so I can’t comment on cover price or drink amounts seeing as we had specials laid out for us(I believe they have good happy hour prices, but the place was relatively dead until around 10 – 11 pm) I did enjoy the food too. That being said, they played a good variety of music and were more likely to take requests than the larger bars I’m used to since the place is smaller. There was a creep trying to hit on/grind on the girls in our group but nothing we couldn’t handle. I think he’s a regular :/ I would come here again. I like the laid back atmosphere and the fact that it’s not crammed with teenagers.

Do u like to sing, drink and dance?! Then def hit this spot. I visited not too long for a friends bday and we had an awesome time! The guys playing the piano get the crowd going and make it a real fun atmosphere. Drinks are fairly priced and there’s space near the stage for some dancing. Who would have known broward can have fun places? Lol j/k.

Bars are fun, but can get boring. Clubs are fun, but get crowded and hot. Karaōke bars make you listen to terrible singers. DUELINGPIANOBARSARETHEBESTCOMBOOFTHETHREE. You get awesome drinks, rockin’ music to dance to, interactive-crowd oriented fun, and the performers actually know how to sing. I have been here a couple of times and it is always a blast. The concept is basically the crowd requests songs for the band to play on piano, drums, guitars, fiddles, etc. The crowd tips the musicians. Sometimes they sing funny songs and make jokes on the audience. You can also tip them to write stuff up on the giant mirrors. I of course tipped $ 20 for them to write«Scalp the ibis, Go Seminoles» lol of course! I decided to have a birthday get together here last Friday, because I love the place so much. I made my reservation about 2 weeks in advance online which was super easy. A woman called me soon after(either Ivette or Theresa) I can’t remember. She called to confirm the reservation and explain the Birthday Club to me that I had joined. If you register online for their birthday club, you can go in one night out of your birthday month and you drink for free!!! I mean come on. What other place in South Florida does that?! I dare someone to find me a place?! After calling twice to change the number of the reservation, I was shocked at how accommodating they were. I had originally made the reservation for 15 and then had to bump it up to 23. Of course, the actual night it was more like 18. We arrived a tables were set up with balloons and we were welcomed right away. The band played almost every song we requested. The musicians were having a great time with the crowd and the place got packed. I had a grand olé time for my birthday – They even got me up on stage. Talk about embarrassing!!! BUTSOMUCHFUN! Drinks were great, food was delicious. I just wish I remembered the end of the night LOL! The only reason this isn’t 5 stars is because I have been to a couple of better Dueling Piano bars. The others just seem to have a bigger location, better drink specials, better drinks(i.e. buckets of liquor drinks, etc), and a few have even had a better band. I have been to different bars in Charlotte, New Orleans, Savannah, Orlando and here. But hey, STILLANAMAZINGPLACE! A special thanks to all my friends who came out, I think everyone really enjoyed themselves here as well. And an even greater thanks to the staff at Sopranos for being so awesome, entertaining, accommodating, and nice. I haven’t found too many places in South Florida where the employees are so concerned with people’s happiness. CANTWAITTOCOMEBACK!

A decent piano bar, but not the best I’ve ever been to. I really appreciate the online reservation system and that it’s no hassle. Simply tell them your name and party size and boom, a table for that many people will be reserved for you without some ridiculous fee. The hostess was also very nice when we got there. We paid a $ 5 cover but it got us buy one get one free drinks. The biggest cons of this place was the slow service(they weren’t super packed when we got there and it took FOREVER to get our drinks), the odd older crowd(not the bar’s fault but part of the experience) and the fact that the piano players kept playing new poppy music. That last part may not bother you, but I’m all about the classics at piano bars and for a few big chunks of the evening they simply repeated new pop songs and honestly that bored me. Overall not a bad place to stop in for a bit while bar hopping in ft. lauderdale!

All eyes on stage. Entertainment, dancing, drinks, and what smelled like good eats(the people nearby ordered burgers that looked juicy and smelled fresh off the grill) await you and friends at Sopranos Piano Bar. Located on the second floor of Beachplace on Fort Lauderdale’s shore, this spot promises a good time to patrons of all ages. A couple was dancing away 50’s style on this particular evening, and their smiles and moves were contagious. Full bar that includes a small selection of craft brews, buy 1 get 1 drink specials, and no cover charge made my visit to this venue user-friendly. A piano bar in Fort Lauderdale is quite rare, so I’d label this a hidden gem amongst the usual and ordinary bars and nightclubs along the strip… you’ll have a good ‘olé time here!

Fun can definitely be had at Sopranos if you allow yourself to loosen up and enjoy. The performers are decent, there was a rotation of three piano players throughout the night, always two playing at anytime. They have a wide range of popular tunes they play and you can also make request, if you’re generous with your money you can even get your request played sooner than later. Service was good too, bartender was friendly and doesn’t pressure you to order drink after drink, they let you sit in your zone and relax. There is also a pretty good chance you;ll get a two for one drink as there are numeous guys on the bottom level of the complex passing out wristbands for you to gain admission and get a buy one get one free drink ticket. All in all a decent place to spend an evening if you’re down to have a good time.
