For my anniversary I was hoping to purchase delicious chocolate covered strawberries, I went to the store and was told it would take 15 minutes for my strawberries to be dipped, when I returned they weren’t even started. Seems the customer after myselfs order was more important. Luckily enough though… the strawberries were so small and shriveled. for 3 $ each! No thank you!

Nice selection of chocolates and candies here in this little shop. They had samples out of their rum chocolate bits and so I had one of those. Wow, way too much sugar. But I spotted quite a few other chocolates, including one topped with cashews and so I got a small handful of those. I ate those a bit later and they were flipping awesome. Not too sweet, lots of nut mixed into the bite. Very tasty. Of course, chocolate tends to melt in the South Florida sun so be careful where you leave these babies.

Worst Schakolad store I’ve been too. No samples, limited choice too. The ones on GA and TN are wonderful though. While the candy is good, this is not a ‘normal’ Schakolad store. Believe me, As I spend an average of $ 50 – 80 a month at their stores.

I love this store! They have a large assortment of chocolate and it’s all hand dipped! They’re all so good but the hazelnut praline was amazing. They even have ice cream and coffee. You need to try the Schakolatte drink or a milkshake on a hot day. I got a really nice box of chocolates for my boyfriends mom and they customized it while I waited and wrote her name with chocolate. The girls who work there are really friendly and helpful.

In the plaza off 17th street with a friend for lunch. Worked off lunch by browsing some of the clothes at Ross, and saw the chocolate shoppe and had to try. The other Schakolad shoppe is in Davie. The prices of chocolate are by the pound. Definitely on the pricy side, but that’s what you expect to pay for hand crafted chocolates. Think Godiva or Kilwins $. The girls who work here are friendly. There’s ice cream(one lady eating rum ice cream told me there was no taste of rum at all), and so many chocolates to choose from. They have an outdoor patio to relax and enjoy. There are coupons for two free truffles, I loved the 70% dark chocolate truffle.
