I had an amazing experience here. I came to them w/​a script from another doctor. They’re next to Sullo hair salon where I get my hair cut so I wandered in. Their prices were dramatically lower than the other 4 places I had checked on and they were very helpful. My vision issues are complicated from RK surgeries many years ago and I generally leave optical shops feeling frustrated. I require a lot of attention and time and they were more than willing to avail themselves to me. I got 3 pairs of glasses on this day done. After a week I wasn’t feeling like they were correct. I wasn’t adjusting and after a week I usually know if something is going to work or not. The prescription the previous optical shop was off and it was kind of experimental to begin with since my eyes are such a complicated story. I knew this going in. Today I paid their doctor, who was especially patient and informative, and got a 2^nd opinion/​exam. He came up with a different prescription for both my progressive lenses and my computer glasses (Vs. the script that I had done 2 weeks ago and 5 months before that). They’re replacing everything at no charge as is their policy. I was shocked. The staff was so nice and the owner, William, spent time fitting me himself. One other thing to note is that most places wanted 10 business days for progressives. They only asked for 5 and I actually got them on the 5^th day. That never happens.

Staff was extremely friendly and service was fast and of high quality! Went for a pair of lenses and had to them done right there within the hour, will def go back again!

Since I no longer carry any eye insurance, I figured I’d go to a local Optical Center to get my eyes checked and get my contacts. Everyone was super friendly, professional and the store was clean. My check-​up went smoothly and I had a great conversation with my Optician. Because they didn’t have my exact monthly prescription on hand, they sent me home with a daily contact so that I could use it until my prescription came in the next day. I will absolutely be back.

After a week of shopping around for an optician, I ran across Oakland Optical Center. I had an eye exam and obtained a prescription for both eyeglasses and contact lenses. The doctor was extremely thorough and professional, and I was genuinely pleased with his services. While there, I purchased a pair of Carrera eyeglasses at an incredible price, as well as 2 boxes of contact lenses. The staff was very kind and helpful, and I was generously attended.

I have gotten 3 pairs of glasses here and the service was expedient, courteous and efficient. The staff is friendly, knowledgable and attentive. They let me browse the shop and take as much time as I want. They process my insurance efficiently and accurately. They call me when my glasses are ready (usually pretty quickly) and make sure I am happy with everything before I leave the store. They helped me fix a pair of old glasses by ordering the part I needed (I chewed off the plastic ends), installed it on my glasses, and didn’t charge me anything — they did it just to be nice and make a customer happy. The eye doctor (Gregory schachtman) there is great too. He spent some time with me figuring out that I have a rare corneal defect on one eye and could demonstrate it to me (impressive). I will definitely be getting more glasses here due to the personable service.

Worst customer service ever!!! I wanted to buy 3 pairs of sunglasses and 1 piece of eye ware and the total would have been over $ 1600 and they couldn’t be bother waiting on me! Money is green and it’s like manure It’s ment to be spread around!!!

Love this place eye doctor is awesome and the staff is fantastic. Very friendly and helpful, not pushy like some places.
