I’ve been wanting to check this joint out for awhile now. It’s a combination of your neighborhood convenience store and a sub shop. Sandwiches in every form and fashion you can dream up. Made with Boar’s Head meats they’re off to a good start. I ordered turkey, roast beef and Swiss, small $ 8.99/large $ 14.99. That’s right, $ 15 bucks for a sandwich, pretty steep if you ask me. I had it dressed with mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion and jalapeño. I ordered mine to go but there’s a few 10ft tables near the sandwich counter that you can try to grab a seat at. They have daily specials including homemade soups. I waited about 10 minutes to have my small sandwich prepared. I grabbed my food and headed to the counter to pay. Decided to grab a soda on the way out. How about $ 1.88 for a 12oz Sprite? Outrageous! I could get a 2 liter elsewhere for less than that and a whole 12pack from CVS or Publix for $ 2.50, yikes! Anyway, I took my sandwich back to my office to eat while catching up on emails. Good presentation, looked pretty well put together. After taking the first bite, it was as dry as the guy’s humor that made it. Stick to sandwich making«sparky» because your jokes are pretty lame, lol. To top it off the cashier kept my .53 cents. I only hope my lottery ticket is the winner that my sandwich was not… Too many other good sub shops around for me to rush back anytime soon.

Eat in or take out this gem of a sub shop is tops bar none. The bread is soft and delectable the meats and cheeses are fresh. Try one of the house special sandwiches or wraps

This is a real deal deli. They don’t skimp on the meat and the price is fair for as much sandwich they give you. Fresh bread and the best egg salad. I liked their tri salad and fruit salad too. Heard coleslaw wasn’t great and neither was the seafood salad but the potato salad is! This place is packed so call ahead if you’re in a hurry! Early bird, needles eye, Reuben, monster(ridiculously huge) and Roast Beef Italiano ftw!

Let me start by saying if you want a cheap sandwich go to subway if you want an AMAZING sandwich come to My Market! This place is really great they have something for everyone. My personal favorite at this moment is the Spicy Italian. There are so many other great sandwiches. I often pick up my employees lunch from here because they can all get something they like and I just call it in.(I suggest calling in your order if you don’t have much time these guys make a serious sandwich its not just tossed together. great quality ingredients. They also have a huge selection of chips and drinks. I mean really huge selection. This place is a hidden gem in fort lauderdale and much appreciated by the locals.

NEVERAGAIN! Terrible meat, overcharged me for Boars Head when i ordered Market Made(easy $ 3 a person if you have delivered). Waited almost 2 hours for delivery because they are«busy»…suggestion, don’t offer lunch delivery if you can’t get it there! Meat was GRAY and FATTY. THINTHIN sandwich for $ 14.99. This place should be embarrassed to advertise quality and pictures that don’t add up! Once and DONE!

Best deli and sandwiches in town. Super quick. Grilled ham and cheese on rye is to die for.

Got the chicken Caesar salad with spinach instead of lettuce. Very good. Came with a little cup of potato salad. $ 11 after tax. Bigger than most salads. Lots of chicken and dressing. Plentiful and filling. Also it’s located in a convenience store so you can get a bottle of water or soda or chips as well.

I have to be fair that the food here is always 5 stars and the people at the sandwich counter are all excellent. All that goes away from I am guessing one of the female owners who is just the nastiest person I have come across in a long time. I always say good morning and I am lucky to get a grunt back if anything from her. Everyone else at the register asks me if I would like some paper towels which makes having my breakfast at the beach easier than napkins. She seems to have a problem with that and pretty much refuses to give them to me. Mind you this is after spending $ 22 on 2 wraps and drinks the other day. I really don’t even want to go back there and might try to find something as good and convenient.

I don’t know how this place doesn’t have rampant loss and theft due to the business model they have going on-but maybe it’s the customer morale that inspires people to mostly be honest here. You go to the back of what looks like a typical convenience store with a deli counter in the back and order heros. There are tables in the middle of the place where you can sit down and eat between cases of beer and sodas-an odd concept if you ask me. You can grab a Diet Coke and bag of chips, and eat them along with your hero and then bring a bunch of garbage up to the checkout to pay. Seems a bit odd to me. I would think that you would pay before you eat, but to each their own. I’m sure they have been doing this business model for years and obviously they are still in business. That being said-the heros are really good. Toss up between here and Laspada’s. They don’t throw the deli meat to each other like Laspada’s does, so there’s less showmanship involved but the sandwiches are delicious. If I hadn’t been on my way to the beach I may have ordered a half pound of pasta salad to go because it looked damn good. This is a little place that’s impossible to find if you don’t know where you’re going, which would make you think it’s a well kept secret. But judging by the amount of people in here on a Monday afternoon, it’s not.

Such a varied menu of subs and salads. Outstanding values. The addition of having a convenience store is a big plus not seen in most Deli’s. One stop shop.

Perfect deli sandwich made to order! Friends have told us about it, but never tried till this past weekend. We were in the mood for a really good sandwich — corn beef, roast beef, turkey and Swiss on rye with coleslaw and Russian dressing… DELICIOUS!!! if you’re a local and you haven’t been, you’re missing out! If you’re visiting and want a damn good sandwich or sub to take to the beach — stop in, you can get beer and snacks too since it’s also a convenience store!

Secret gem with phenomenal boarshead sandwiches. I’ll come back later for a better review but needed to give this place 4 stars ASAP.

Wonderful surprise! Was in the area & was told about this place. Looks like the typical 7 – 11 neighborhood corner convenience store, but it is so much more! Yes, you can get ur fill of candy & chips, but head to their deli in the back! Yummy! Delicious sandwiches, potato salad, coleslaw, etc-All served with a smile by the nicest workers! This is what they mean by a «neighborhood gem!»

This was my go-to corner market when I lived in Ft. Lauderdale. You wouldn’t think that the best and biggest variety of sandwiches and salads around would be right there, but it is truly a great place for lunch, or to just grab something to go. Fresh ingredients and great bread and quality meats make this place an institution in the area. You can’t go wrong here.

Today was my first time and I’m super impressed, the girl behind the counter was very helpful with what’s on the menu but I went with an idea of what I wanted hearing such praise about it and that was the cold chicken salad sub which is made fresh everyday and it was beyond amazing! Everything is so fresh from the meats, veggies down to the bread. Definitely a place I’ll be back to! Talk about a hidden gem!

If you’re familiar with Riverside Market than this place is the deli equivalent. You order, pick out whatever chips you want from their shelves and can grab any drink from their fridges. Then when you’re finished eating you bring everything up to pay at the register. The deli/sandwich counter is all the way in the back so don’t be confused when you walk in and just see a convenience store. There’s limited seating so consider ordering ahead of time because it can take awhile for your sandwich to be made. Sandwiches are really good, I would even be confident to say they may be better than Publix.

Make sure you CALLAHEAD cause it’s packed, for good reason, it’s THEBEST sub I’ve had in Ft Lauderdale, period. I got caught waiting behind the biggest hammerhead«I’m so macho» suit wearing manginas I’ve seen in a long time that must have all piled in my little sister’s leased Lexus for the cruise over to the deli. CALLAHEAD! Go into this spot expecting a good sub, not service, it’s not about that, these guys talk to each other in deli/sub lingo and have no time for your bullshit, they’re too busy hammering out badass subs.

This place jumps to No. 2 on my Unilocal sub list. Behind V&S in Boca Raton, and ahead of LaSpada’s. Really good. It’s not too far from Tap 42. Across the railroad tracks in a very unassuming neighborhood market. They also serve breakfast sandwiches. As good as the sub was, I’m looking forward to trying other menu items. Unilocaler Marqus’ review is what compelled me to visit, as well as a non-Yelper’s shoutout on Facebook, and it was well worth the trip.
