My husband and I had breakfast on the sidewalk café. My husband had typical egg, sausage, hash browns and toast. I had the bourbon, banana and walnut waffles. I do not recommend this. If you do go be sure to sit in D-Js station. He was great! Silly as this sounds he fix my iced coffee for me. I am now ordering iced coffees as he prepared it. He provided prompt service and was very pleasant!

This review is for Indigo’s happy hour. Stopped in to take part in the happy hour — 50% off drinks and select food. We walked down to all the restaurants and checked out their happy hour but this one stood out because of how dog friendly they are and it was available on the patio. Other bars/restaurants only had happy hour inside at their bar. Jenelle, one of the hostesses brought our dog a giant bowl of ice water the minute we sat down. She even came by later with a milkbone. The wines started at $ 7/glass before the discount and the beers started at $ 6. There was a good cocktail selection ranging from $ 10 – 12. The food looked good but we didn’t order anything. We did order a beer and four glasses of wine which came out to about $ 23 before tip. Yamila was our waitress and she was great! Our waters were always full and she checked in whenever our drinks were getting low. She even stopped by to let us know happy hour was ending in case we wanted another drink. To our surprise there was live music that started around 6pm and added to the great atmosphere. This is a great spot to grab a drink, sit outside and people watch. Street parking with pay stations.

I wanted to really like this place as the sidewalk seating is great, but I’m left with mixed feelings about the service, wait times, and food. First, I ordered the filet. The menu called for it to be accompanied by skillet Mac-n-cheese, mixed greens, and jus for $ 42. Slightly on the expensive side, so I was expecting something good. The filet(8 oz) itself didn’t disappoint. It was thick and cooked perfectly with a slightly salty exterior and hot medium rare center(I ordered medium). The skillet Mac-n-cheese was very good too, but it was more on the baked pasta spectrum than the cheesy goodness I was expecting. Even though it wasn’t what I was expecting, it was still excellent. The mixed greens, in the other hand, were a big disappointment. It was an oily blob of mushy spinach without flavor. I didn’t see any mixed component to it and was disappointed. When I finished, I was still hungry. The other odd thing with the meal was the jus. It was served on plate in a bowl sized for soup. I actually had to ask if it was soup as it had onions and other seasonings in it. I was assured it was just jus. It was enough for 10 filets! And, I don’t normally find I need jus with a nicely cooked, well seasoned, and thick filet – it just detracts from a good quality, flavorful meat. Second, I ate on a Sunday night, just prior to 8PM. The crowd had mostly cleared out by that time, and the few tables that were lingering had already finished their meals. While I was there, I only saw two other tables seated. Therefore, I was surprised that it took 40 minutes to receive my food. No explanation was given, so I guessed the wait staff didn’t find that out of the ordinary. I would hate to have seen the wait in a busier time. Last, I thought the service was a little lacking. Even though it had slowed down, and the empty tables had been bussed, it didn’t seem like they were ready for additional customers. My table top could have been better cleaned and prepared for the next customer(me) before I sat down. And, my ice tea sat empty twice for over 10 minutes each time. I looked over to the hostess station and my waitress was mostly just standing there. While she was very friendly and personable, I found it hard to catch her eye. There was no bread service either with the steak entrée which I found unusual. At the end if the meal, I decided to skip the anticipated long wait for desert and made my way across the street for sine awesome gelato instead. Indigo could be a 4 star plus place with a little work. But, I read other reviews while waiting and it seems experiences can vary here, so it’s worth a shot, but don’t over anticipate.

A really enjoyable Sunday brunch experience. Great outdoor seating, good service. Great coffee and Proseco. Decent shrimp and spinach frittata. Only downer was a disappointing corned beef hash(my wife’s favorite breakfast dish). Too much potato vs. not enough corned beef. Server fessed up that the kitchen scraped together the last of it and she took it off the tab. But, she should not have served it to begin with.

Consistently amazing food. Quick service, very friendly, and professional. The food is creative yet classic, things as simple as grilled cheese and soup are intensely packed with flavor and have a new twist. GREAT specials especially for holidays.

Came to Fort Lauderdale on a conference. Ate here for an early dinner. They seemed to be very busy. But, were very responsive. Drinks were a little slow getting to table. Looked like the waitress had too many tables. I felt bad for her. She was very nice. Food was excellent, I had the seared tuna bowl. Excellent choice would go back!

Just awful. We stopped here for breakfast on a Saturday morning and had an absolutely awful experience. The waiter spilled coffee in my lap and didn’t even apologize. The food was OK at best and the service was nonexistent. I will not be going back here ever again! There are lots of other places in Fort Lauderdale that provide much better food quality and much better service.

Service was great but we had 4 different things from the menu and only 1 of them was above average and i should have sent the other three back. There has to be better options on this strip.

Service is great but food was slightly below average for the prices they are charging. I really wish we would have went somewhere else.

Christmas on Las Olas is always busy — you would expect restaurants to be a little overwhelmed and delays. Not this restaurant! The food was GREAT, service was impeccable and exceeded our expectations! I have food allergies which was accommodated fantastically plus Hayley the bar lady makes the most amazing French martini! We will be back!

Late lunch, cocktails, appetizers and ribs. Good food, home-crafted drinks, friendly service, and, of course, great people and car watching. What’s not to like?

My family went to dine here on a Saturday evening after a stroll down Las Olas. What an unpleasant experience, especially for a pricy meal! The waitress was nice and attentive, but the food was really bad. My husband ordered a mojito which had way too much lime and large mint leaves, and you couldn’t taste any of the alcohol. We waited approximately 30 minutes for our appetizer(wings), which were dry. We waited another 30 minutes for our food. My burger was cooked correctly, but the bun was burnt and the sweet potato fries weren’t cooked all the way through as they were still hard on the inside. My sons burger and regular fries were cooked correctly. My daughter ordered the chicken and waffles and although the waffles were good the chicken was overcooked and very dry. My daughter and son shared the ice cream dessert but after taking a lick each they didn’t like them at all and put them back on the table; so the entire thing went to waste. When the waitress asked how everything was and my husband explained our dissatisfaction with the food her response was, «Yes I know, I spoke with the cook and trust me I am a hispanic woman so I know I was heard». Although grateful she recognized it and did something about it there was no offer to have the food remade. She did come back with the credit card receipt stating that she removed the mojito. NEVERGOINGBACKHERE!

Disappointing. Stopped in here for brunch. They seemed a little disorganized. The menu is not posted in the hotel, it’s out by the street. The hostess seated me, told me a waitress would be by, then later took my order herself. A couple of different waitresses came by asking if I had been helped — it seemed hazy which tables were the responsibility of whom. The interior is dim, bland, and not particularly homey — just sort of a long, narrow«here are some tables in a room» type thing. Outside is better, with views of the passersby, provided the weather is pleasant. I got the eggs Benedict. The chef made the dubious decision to replace the customary side of hash browns or other breakfast potatoes with three spears of asparagus. I might have been okay with it, except that the asparagus was terrible — tough and flavorless. The eggs Benedict themselves were rubbery and bland. A very poor showing for a standard breakfast staple. The waitress brought the check without being asked for it, an irksome faux-pas(«Thanks for your business! Now leave!») Symptomatic of the spotty service. I would try this place again, but am not impressed by my first experience here.

Poor leadership. We had to wait 3 – 4 hours for our brunch. We reserved well in advance for 16 ppl and had only 1 waiter. The duty manager was could care less until we got fed up and told someone to help our poor waiter.

Pleasantly surprised by a recent dinner at the Indigo located inside the Riverside Hotel located on Las Olas. I have been to the restaurants out door café for lunch and breakfast. I had a gift certificate, so I wanted to try dinner there. I’m always hopeful for standard dinner fare at a hotel restaurant but I was surprise how good it was. My partner and I both ordered the same pork tenderloin dish with polenta included in the dish was almonds, el dente vegetables and a bit of dried cranberry. First bite of the creamy polenta was wow then a bite of the very moist tenderloin(cooked to order) together with the polenta was hmmmm. When I make that sound continually throughout the meal– it’s a keeper. We realized one order was enough to split because we had order the arugula and beet salad which we shared after our waitress Angelica said the salads were big enough to do so. Secretly I am not sad I have left overs for another meal. Enjoyed our sweet waitress Angelica, helpful when ordering with suggestions and checked in on us to see if we needed anything at appropriate times. I am giving service and food a 5 stars, 3.5 stars on atmosphere. Indigo’s could use a bit of refreshing on their furniture, carpet and walls.

To start your hostess she has a bad attitude she must not like her job. The waiters first thing to mention is there is NOFENCHTOASTORPANCAKES so my kids are disappointed but the waiter doesn’t care he proceed to ask us for our drink order. The food was OK! at best.

The Indigo at Riverside Hotel on Las Olas is one of our favorite breakfast spots. The food is consistently great and their coffee is the best. Wait staff professional and last week they added a shrimp frittata to the menu that was wonderful!

This restaurant was in our hotel. We had breakfast here several mornings. Although there is outside seating, several of the tables were open but reserved each morning so we were relegated to the dingy inside dining area. The place is in desperate need of an overhaul, and their housekeeping staff needs to take an extra minute to get into the nooks and crannies where dirt and debris have been collecting for years. Waitstaff was just adequate — if you didn’t need water refills and your food served hot. Food was expensive but, well, okay. We would not have eaten here a second time had it not been so darn convenient.

Had a surprise birthday party Brunch for my aunt here at Indigo. It’s right in the Riverside hotel on Las Olas street, so yes it’s great people watching. They moved the tables on the patio together to form one big table, and the food for breakfast comes from the Riverside Hotel. It was hard to get a servers attention to ask for a coffee refill or order food, but I figured with the large party they might have been overwhelmed. It was fantastic there was live Jazz music playing just a great vibe. The saxophonist came over and played happy birthday to my Aunt it was special. The food was fresh and delicious. We ordered several fruit platters and it came with a ramekin of Yogurt to dip the fruits in. Also several platters of the pastries like croissants and muffins, I didn’t try but they were a hit. My family ordered eggs Benedict it came with 2 spears of asparagus and they loved it. Some others ordered the eggs and sausage, it was a lot of food and most was left; 2 sausages, 2 eggs, home fries, and toast. I ordered the egg white omelet with spinach it came out perfect. The home fries are good, they aren’t greasy at all. I had a dry English muffin– no problems. It’s a bit more pricey but it is Las Olas and you do get decent portions. We also enjoyed live music which is always worth it. I recommend Indigo for a people watching and tasty breakfast /brunch spot.
