Harbour Pointe Villas and Docks

To echo the previous review this used to be a great place. I lived here for over 3 years and it was only when the management companies changed that it started to go downhill (and quickly). Routine maintenance was ignored and «the super» who is on vacation half the time has no sense of urgency. I had paid my rent on time for 3 years and never had one complaint filed against my wife and I, and the management informed us they would not renew our lease (while telling us for 4 mos that they were in the process of sending us renewal paperwork). We did manage to find a new place and get out in the 30 days they gave us, but we had some porch furniture that was damaged when there was work being done to the exterior of the building. I called every day and left emails and voicemails for over 2 mos without one response. Great location and the apartments themselves are nice, but it’s just not worth the headache of dealing with this management company.

I have lived here for close to 2 years. The first year was great. Mr. Philippe Renaux (owner) had a management company with an office on site. They kept the building in great condition and they were on premise during business hours.
At the end of 2014 Mr. Renaux parted ways with the management company. The building is now in horrible disrepair and the new manager is hostile and negligent.
My kitchen has been infested with swarming termites since I moved in. They will not treat it and claim the are moths. Moths that leave piles of droppings. The appliances are all in disrepair as well. They will not even change the air conditioner filters which are located in a locked closet you can only access with a key. They removed my fire decries in February and have never returned them
There is very little security and the parking lot lights have been burned out for months, it is frightening to come home to a dark parking lot. I hope no one gets hurt.
The walls are so thin that you can hear your neighbors breath at night. Hope you have good neighbors or it could be a sleepless

The lease requires you to pay the whole balance of the year should you want to move early.
There are much better buildings in the area — don’t subject yourself to these conditions
