Visiting Girls’ Club is a MUST when in South Florida! Beautiful exhibitions filled with work of contemporary, mostly but not exclusively, female artists. Their workshops and artist lectures are usually free or a small fee but always worth participating in. Girls’ Club is an amazing resource for young artists in the area. They offer fellowships and internships that give the participants an inside view of running a gallery space and the opportunity to make everlasting connections and friendships. If your an emerging artist or just someone who appreciates contemporary art, I highly recommend visiting Girls’ Club.

Girls’ Club is a great resource to emerging artists in South Florida! It’s staff is committed to presenting emerging artists along with more established artists to see how young local talent fits into the contemporary art conversation. Francie Bishop Good and David Horvitz, collectors and founders, are committed to collecting art by women providing opportunities for aspiring arts professionals. We are lucky to have a place like Girls’ Club in Ft. Lauderdale!
