Located in the rental car terminal this spot is a must for anyone that wants a Cuban sandwich or Cuban coffee. My only real complaint is that it is not always open and more time than not they are out of items. Only that is the price you sometimes have to pay to experience speciality items.

We got to the airport too early to check in, and were directed to this little spot. There’s no place to sit, but the latte and chai, plus a tasty banana nut muffin really was great. The airport has terrible food options, and this was one of the best. Look for it in the Rental Car Center.

It’s always satisfying to find a hidden gem. Cuban Corner definitely was a surprising find. Sitting on the second floor of Fort Lauderdale’s car rental center is a coffee stand that seems to just be an afterthought to a Seattle’s Best that it is adjacent to. It would be a wiser choice to skip the ubiquitous coffee chain and order a flavorful, strong and sweet café con leche from Cuban Corner. It is one the best I have ever tasted, and at only $ 2.50, a bargain. Try their food as well. the Jamaican beef patties are buttery and quite tasty. One of those and a coffee will cost you less than $ 5.
