We stumbled upon the restaurant while looking for the place for lunch. Nice décor fitting the pan-Asian theme of the restaurant. It was also very cool to see all the waitstaff wearing yellow bow ties. Miso soup was good(standard). The egg roll was presented very nicely, cut in half with two sides of the dipping sauce. Shrimp Pad Thai was very tasty, good sauce, good amount of shrimp, overall very successful dish. I also had Thai Iced Tea with my lunch, which was spot on delicious(if you like Thai Iced tea, don’t miss it). Service was outstanding, super-attentive, super– courteous and prompt. Recommended.

I’ve read good reviews so I may have just gone on a bad night. I was there last night with a friend. I ordered a Polynesian martini, which was perfect. Then we each ordered the beef salad, which was horrible! The chef did not trim the fat off the beef before preparing it and because the restaurant has dim lighting I could not see each time I bit into a huge chunk of hard fat. I had to keep spitting it out into my napkin. The flavor was great, but there was not one single piece of beef I bit into that did not have hard fat on it. I should have said something, but our server was not friendly at all. He really rushed us when we asked questions about the menu. That’s probably the main reason we ended up ordering the salads instead of something else. However, there is absolutely no excuse for a chef not to trim the thick pieces of fat off beef before preparing it. Especially when you’re paying $ 18 for a «small plate» salad, which was the same price of the entrée I was thinking of ordering if the server would have been more patient. I did like the ambiance of the restaurant, the other servers were very friendly, and my Polynesian martini came out perfect.

On our way to the airport, we stopped by for lunch. Had the bento boxes. The bento box was good except for the chicken satay. It was crunchy & had a weird texture, the other items in the box were good. The other two of our group enjoyed their boxes.

Fantastic. I’m from Ohio but love great sushi rolls. They are great and the grilled tofu appetizer is great too.

Awesome sushi. I was very surprised this place is not rated 4.5 or 5.0. If you read most people complain about«high prices» and then say the food was good. Tip: if you want good sushi at low prices go catch the fish yourself.

The VERYBEST Thai and Sushi restaurant in Broward County. Chef and owner Mike Ponluang has continued to provide the finest quality and service for over ten years. His staff are friendly and bartender Eugene remembers customers names and favorites with a warm welcome with every visit. A perfect date place with cozy curtain framed booths and intimate lighting. Live music on Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays so don’t stay home when you can join the fun at Coco where we have never been disappointed. COCO always deserves our KISS of APPROVAL, well done Chef Mike and company!

This is a VERY surprisingly delicious gem in the middle of shopping center after shopping center, chain restaurant-ville Ft Lauderdale! The service was incredible. Everything was fast, hot and beautifully prepared. The attention to detail was striking, and the sushi was fresh, creative, and not fishy at all! And we’re New Yorkers! Recommend going before 6:30PM for happy hour — 50% off amazing appetizers and drinks. I had I great Sauvignon blanc at the recommendation of our lovely waiter. He was also incredibly attentive to our toddler, preparing specials like avocado sashimi, which our toddler loved! This restaurant is worth finding and enjoying with friends and family!

I only go here for lunch, but their lunch specials are fantastic, as is the quality of food. My favorite dish is the red curry with the hot and sour soup; it’s too bad they only offer the hot and sour soup on Thursdays. I always make sure to add and egg roll as well, worth it and also excellent.

Excellent food overly priced. A lovely place however they don’t know how to use Opentable. Every time I go there with an open table reservation I receive an email saying I was a no-show. I always tell the person at the restaurant that I made the reservation through Opentable. Very unprofessional for such a high end establishment,

Our lunch at Coco Asian Bistro was quite good! We ordered the bento boxes and were quite pleased with the food and the service! We also got Sake, which was recommended by our server and we thoroughly enjoyed it! We chose the outdoor seating, where the ambience was calm and quiet and the weather that day was wonderful.

We have known the owner, Mike, for more than 20 years, since he had a smaller Thai restaurant in Coral Springs. He has always been focused on quality and this meal reflected that. The atmosphere is beautiful, the servers are knowledgeable and friendly, and the food tasted fantastic! Our party of four ordered a variety of appetizers(chicken samosas, Vietnamese Spring rolls) and entrees. The sashimi and sushi were very fresh and the entrees(peanut chicken, chicken teriyaki, calamari CUSTOM dish) were all served with gorgeous presentation and sumptuous flavor. I can’t say enough about Coco! I wish I could give it TENSTARS!

I eat out 14 times a week, all over the U.S. I think it’s time to start giving honest feedback; helping others make informed dining decisions. We sat at the sushi bar. +Ambiance was clean and as expected. +Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. +Sushi tasted fresh +Sashimi was generous +Rolls were good, not great. They are huge. +Wine selection was good. +Parking is easy, but no valet. Grade: 88% out of 100% I would recommend this restaurant.

Upon entertaining for lunch I could tell this would be an upscale place. It’s dimly lit, but has a nice feel. The service was very good. Water was always filled and there was a nice gentlemen always cleaning up the empty plates. I hate clutter when I’m eating. The dishes on the menu are mostly Thai and Japanese, however the staff I interacted with was all Thai. From a distance the sushi chef was wearing a headband with a Japanese flag but I could tell his real origin. We ordered the coco spring roll. This was served with three different sauces varying in spice. It had a nice fried outside very different then your average egg roll. These were tasty. We also tried the traditional egg rolls. These are the small rolls with a thin rice paper gently fried. Very delicious. I ordered Bento box #2. This had the egg roll, 4 pieces of sushi(tuna). Sea weed salad and chicken pad tai. The tuna sushi tasted fresh and was light and delicious. The seaweed salad was great. Didn’t taste like salt water and I already wrote about the egg roll. The only item that didn’t really wow me was the chicken pad tai. This was the difference between 4&5 stars. This part of the dish didn’t have any flavor. I wasn’t given to option to add addition spice like most restaurants. The chicken was cooked fine but was bland. My wife ordered the basil sauce with shrimp and jasmine rice. The shrimp was fantastic. This tasted very fresh and the sauce wasn’t too strong. The sauce and vegetables really complimented the rice. Overall we enjoyed our experience and will be back!

I had not been to this restaurant in a while. Everything was just as good as I remembered it. They are also offering a Summer menu special from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm with some very good selections at a discounted price. The service provided by Noon was very good and the food was excellent. The wonton soup was very flavorful and delicious. The tuna tataki was very fresh and melted in your mouth. The rolls were also very delicious as was the fried cheesecake.

VERYNICE toilette paper in the ladies room! Not so sure about the men’s room, I’ll have to ask someone. The outdoor seating area was real jazzy with a fireplace. Someone’s nice gramps was playing adult contemporary music indoors and it was quite delightful. If a guy took me here on a date Id consider putting out. At least road head because honestly, their prices are kinda steep. Our server looked like he hasn’t changed since his senior year yearbook picture in 1999. Emerald noodle… get it.

I had a great experience last night. The only downside, the bar is too small to accommodate everyone coming in for happy hour. The ladies night $ 2 wine choices were Pinot Grigio and Pinot Noir. That’s it. On the good side, the food was delicious. I ordered the Duck Noodles Soup and the Lemongrass Crème Brulee. The soup although listed under appetizers was enough as a main dish.

Located in the West side of the Cordova Shopping Plaza, Coco is basically an Asian food restaurant. They have a very nice outdoor patio dining area and a very well decorated indoor area along with a full bar. Their menu is extensive and everything I have here has been really good along with really good service, but I do find it to be somewhat on the pricey side of the scale. For example, I last had their Emerald Scallops which when served came with 5 diver scallops, three spears of asparagus and two good slices of Portobello mushroom. The scallops came cover with a delicious curry based cream sauce, but the diver scallops were medium in size and though very tasty, at $ 35 rather high priced, so since the portion left me still hungry, I ordered a dish of their crispy fried calamari. The calamari at $ 15 was, however, of a good size portion, wok tossed in a very pleasant tasting sweet chili over a bed of lettuce, which in this case, I thought reasonable priced considering the good size of the portion. I’ve eaten at Coco several times before and though I can’t recall what I had I do recall everything being very good with excellent flavor, taste and texture. Coco has a super extensive menu containing just about anything of Asian, Asian fusion or Thai based cuisine that you might desire. So yes, some items are somewhat on the pricey side but basically you can be assured that you are going to get a good tasting meal at Coco.

A surprising Asian fusion place was a dope décor. A really trendy spin on Asian foods. Okay, yes… the food is pricey but the Thai soup was among the best that I ever had. I ordered the Asian dumplings, which was pretty tasty, especially with the peanut sauce. I also ordered the seafood served with jasmine rice, it was good and I ordered a strange-looking dessert but I liked it. But the Thai Iced tea needed for milk and was on the strong side. The service was good and the presentation of the food was picture worthy. **Note: This place is trendy yet romantic and you are going to spend some serious cash, so if you are dating… bring someone here that you are serious about. You know, like an anniversary or someone that’s marriage material.
