This review is for their ring re-​sizing service.
When my fiancé and I came in we were promptly addressed and welcomed. Even though our ring wasn’t purchased here, they were great and are extremely reasonably priced when compared to other places I had called. My ring was checked for size, then I was measured myself. Although I thought I should go with a 3.75, they assured me that a 3.5 was the way to go and that it would fit comfortably but not tightly.
We were hesitant to leave our ring in the hands of strangers at first but Carroll’s was able to put us at ease. When I picked up the ring it fit great and not too snug like I was promised and sparkled perfectly. You can’t even tell there was any work done on it! The ring was finished and ready in TWO days. Other places told me it would take at least a week and a friend of mine had to wait a month to get her engagement ring back.
I am just amazed at the quality of work and people here, not to mention the turn around time and the price. For a simple down sizing like mine, the cost was $ 45. Great place and if I’m ever looking for jewelry I’ll be sure to stop in again.

I would be hesitant on doing business with this company, and certainly would shy away from giving them any custom work. I gave Jon the details on a ring I wanted made for my wife for Christmas. I followed up with him multiple times by phone and email only for him to tell me today that his jewelers (contract outside of store) just don’t have time to get me a quote. He knows I have waited and waited for him to get back to me and was on hold. He said sorry — great. Months later he says he just does not have the time to help me, after I chase him down. I figure that because they could pay the high price of being On Las Olas, they wouldn’t do this to me. I was wrong.

When making a jewelry purchase I want people who I can trust and Carroll’s has earned my trust and so they are my Jeweler.

I bought my fiancé’s engagement ring here and couldnt have asked for a better experience. I didnt know the first thing about engagement rings when I first walked in but they were very patient with me and walked me through the entire process. I ended up getting a great deal compared to what I was looking at in other stores. And she said Yes. not sure how much credit to give them for that, but I’ll take it! We’ve gone back for a couple resizings and they continue to give us the best customer service.

Living in Ft. Lauderdale, many friends come down to visit. Just recently a friend of mine was down to settle an estate due to a death in the family. They asked me if i knew of a good honest jeweler. Well, not ever needing a jeweler i recommended Carrolls as i met this very nice couple briefly who mentioned that they worked there thought). well they went there and were treated as if they were family… Everything that they were told by others was wrong. This nice man i met was the owner from what i have learned. My friends settled the estate and saved or made (Not sure which one as i wasn’t involved) plenty of money… so much that they tried to give me a finders fee or a thank you. THANK YOU Carrolls for being honest and fair to everyone…

I spoke with Bob about the possibility of repairing a damaged estate ring I’m thinking of buying. He suggested I bring or send pictures, which I emailed, and he responded promptly with a reasonable quote and caution about possible issues, suggesting we speak. When I called, he explained potential outcomes from a smooth repair to irreversible breakage and what he thought the ring in question was worth. I’m delighted to find an honest local jeweler and look forward to calling at Carroll’s again.

I can’t say enough about this place. After my recent experience I will recommend it to everyone. I recently brought my watch to a competitor to get fixed. They wanted to charge me $ 1,800.00 and claimed that I had rust inside the watch. I remembered years ago that I took the watch previously to Carroll’s to get fixed. I wanted them to give me a second opinion. After inspecting the watch they took the time to explain to me what was wrong with it and fixed it. They even made the recommendation to keep the watch a couple of extra days on a «winder’ to ensure it was keeping correct time. I have not had a problem since. They didn’t even charge me to get if fixed because I perviously brought it to them to have service. Funny how Carrolls charged me $ 0.00 and the competitor wanted $ 1,800.00.
Shops like this don’t seem to exist anymore. A company that stands behind their repairs and product. They were originally recommended to me from a Florida native and I am glad he did. It is no surprise that they have been in business for over 50 years! It is because they treat people right.
I just wanted to thank them for my recent experience. I will show my gratitude by recommending this place to everyone any chance I get!!!

Top notch experience. My fiancé and I went engagement ring shopping here. My fiancé decided to wear casual clothing for this occasion. He laughed in the car thinking that he should have dressed nicer. A few other places we went were not quite as friendly, maybe because we were not completely dressed like buyers. However, Carroll’s was so welcoming, helpful, and didn’t even blink twice at what we were wearing. They popped a bottle of champagne to toast us and spent a lot of time listening to our desires and helping us with options. We ended up getting my ring from there, and they could not have been more helpful and fun. Their selection was outstanding, and my ring is the most unique setting ever! I have gotten so many complements. Worth every penny.

One thing about South Florida is that it reeks with shady slippery characters as well as businesses. Where else can a County Sheriff run wild with all sorts of financial schemes, openly corrupt activities, then merely spend a few months in prison only to later become a highly paid political lobbyist? Or, where else would you find a leading law firm actually serving as little more than a cover up for a billion dollar plus Ponzi scheme?
Hence, it’s rather important to know with whom you are dealing and who you can generally trust, especially when it comes to jewelry, which is why I award a five stars to Carroll’s Jewelers. Though my platinum canary yellow encrusted diamond tiara comes from Harry Winston (Really now! I hope you don’t seriously believe that?), I’ve had the good fortune to have had several dealings with Carroll’s and have always found them to be up right honest, friendly, reliable and generally good people with whom to engage in business. They’ve been around for years and it’s a good bet that they will be around for many more years. They have one of the best retail selections of glassware in town, various estate sale items and can generally guide you into or onto anything that may be of your interest.

This store is first class. My watch battery died during my vacation so I dropped in here to see if I could get it replaced.
The store is very boutique. There was a lot to look at. We met with a very friendly gentleman Bill. I saw some beautiful rings and he was happy to tell me and my boyfriend about them. He also gave some great diamond advice. All this I didn’t expect but was super. I learned that I loved the Mark Schneider settings. I saw a some in the store and the complete list on their site. After going off track with the rings, I asked about the battery, within a couple minutes my watch was like new.
