I had the pleasure of eating here one afternoon and meeting the owner of this place. First off, I received warm welcoming from Rosa and Red. Im inspired by Rosas story and how the place came to be. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and onion rings. The cheeseburger hands down, the best ive ever had. Im not sure it was how good the cheeseburger was or if it was all the love she and her staff put into it. This place gives you the good feeling of coming home. I recommend this place highly and look forward to future frequent visits.

The sweetest staff and some great home cooking. Also, if you’re a French fry lover like myself, get yourself a side… You’re welcome.

I have been going to Bozo’s for years and the food is still excellent!!! My favorite is the Oxtail dinner with Collard Greens, Rice and a corn muffin. The desserts are homemade and are addicting especially the Carmel cake and the pineapple upside down cake. So happy that when I want a great soul food dinner on Friday’s that I can go and get great food along with great customer service.

I was very underwhelmed and unimpressed by this place. Firstly, the management needs to highlight that when you buy the«combo» it does not include fries or a drink. It is the sandwich only. You need to pay extra for items that a reasonable person would presume comes as part of a combo. Secondly, it is not even a full sub that you get for your money. It is 6 inch sub and a bland, soggy one at that. The total cost of a 6′ inch sub with steak that had clearly just been reheated in a microwave, unseasoned fries most likely out of a Walmart great value bag and a bottle of coke was in excess of $ 10. If you walk no more than 5 seconds across the street you will find the Riverside Market. Here, for the price of about $ 8 to $ 9, you will receive a delicious giant sub with fresh ingredients that you will most likely have to take home with you because it’s that big. I would not recommend eating at Bozo’s Sub & Sandwich Shop.

I didn’t know they reopened last May. This is hands down the best soul food in Fort Lauderdale. Everything is great and the best corn bread and pineapple upside down cake I ever ate. On Fridays they have specials. Today I had the meatloaf and it’s enough to have a cold sandwich later for me. The staff is always helpful and friendly and very quick service unless it’s peak lunch service but still not too bad. I put next Friday on my calendar because it’s fried chicken. Yahoo.

Bozo’s has delicious food for an excellent price. The Friday specials are serious authentic soul food. Mrs. Bozeman and the staff are all terrific ladies. You should call ahead and place orders for the Friday specials a day in advance. The combo specials are very tasty for a great price too! Subs and salads are all excellent. I especially love the pastrami sub! The location is great and the area has a lot of character with its historic location in the Riverside Park neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale. Go early in the day because they close around 5pm except on Fridays they’re open until 8pm. Don’t go on Sunday or Monday because they are closed both days.

Best sandwich shop that I have ever found. Rosa makes wonderful food and always greats you with a smile. I have never had anything bad at Bozo’s. I normally order a sandwich and one of her home made lemonades. I can normally eat about half. The cake I have to bring home and eat later, it’s worth it. I can’t say enough good things about this small sandwich shop.

VERY solid sandwich shop. I recommend the chicken tender sub as it’s unlike most other chicken sandwiches out there. The snack sub combo is my go to because you get a 6 inch sub, side of fries, and drink for a little under $ 7. Great authentic food in the sea of places to eat out in ft lauderdale, makes me feel like I’m in the bahamas or some small island =) REMEMBER: They only take cash.

Located in a rather hoodie neighborhood, just ignore the iron bars on the windows and you’ll find a rather delightful sandwich shop. Besides, during daylight hours, the area is unthreatening. The sandwiches and food here is much better than that of Riverside Market located across the street but the patio or outside seating not as inviting as are the chairs in front Riverside. Then, with the vast and superlative beer selection one way to surmount the problem is to get your sandwich or food at Bozo’s, then grab your beer at Riverside. If you happen to hit the place on Fridays, that is when they have their best list of specials, so be sure to ask about them as, according to Bozo’s motto: «When It Comes To Food, We Don’t Clown Around.»
