I just had a massage today, November 10th @ 4:15. Very unusual. Weirdest massage I have ever had in my life, and I get massages all the time. I felt like it was an amateur session. My therapist never introduced herself, she was extremely cold(perhaps she was having an off day, everyone is entitled to one). Needless to say, the massage felt like someone was just rubbing oil on my body, rather than a deep tissue massage. Her technique or lack thereof, was bizarre. I was checking the place out before I bought the entire bridal party massages, but that definitely will not be happening. Never again! On a positive note, this was an extremely serene and relaxing environment. I just wish the massage matched the actual ambiance. Do not waste your time, go somewhere else.

I bought a massage for me and my hubby on Groupon. From the second we walked in the door it was a serene place… low lighting, candles and smelled yummy. Cherie took care of both of us… I was so relaxed after my massage I didn’t mind waiting for my hubby to get his. I did have to call and wait for a return call, but they were very prompt with a return call. We both enjoyed it and well be back.

f I could give this place zero stars and still add a review I would. I bought a living social voucher to this establishment and did not go through with the treatment due to the severe unprofessionalism of the technician on staff.

Can’t even comment on caliber as couldn’t even get an appointment scheduled. Called on 4 different times and the person answering the phone never had their ‘book’ in front of them. My contact information was taken and I was told I would be called back in ’15 minutes’. This has been the longest 15 minutes of my life! In reading other reviews this seems to be trend. I suppose this business is just wanting to fail.

Just left from having my first deep tissue massage here and honestly it was one of the best massages that I’ve had in a really long time. Very relaxing!

MYCATGIVES A BETTERMASSAGE! I bought a Living Social voucher back in July but after booking my appointment, had a scheduling conflict and needed to cancel. Weeks went by and I had actually forgotten about my voucher until I got an email from Living Social that it would expire in a month. I should have let it expire. Cherie was my therapist. She gave me the most disconnected, disinterested, lackadasical massage I have ever experienced. Even though it was supposed to be a Deep Tissue massage she rubbed my back like I was an egg. When I asked for a bit more pressure, she dug the tip of her elbow into my scapula and dragged them down over my hip bone. When I Unilocaled in pain, she asked if it was too much pressure. I replied that she was running bone over bone. With no apology, she abrupty stopped and went to work on the other side with the same lackluster pressure as before. Again I asked for a bit more pressure and again she dug her elbow into my back. The pressure Cherie then used to glide both hands up and down my back was identical to what you’d use if you were applying suntan lotion to an infant. Same with my arms, which she worked on for about a 45 seconds each. Did I actually pay for this? It was then I realized the massage was not going to get any better. So I raised up, told her I was good and asked her to stop the massage. Interestingly enough, besides asking me if I was okay, she never asked why I wanted her to stop or attempted to find out what was wrong with an offer to fix it. Is she THAT used to people walking out on her? Or maybe this is the technique she uses to make money. Have folks buy a voucher then give them a massage so crappy that she only has to work for 20 minutes before they can’t take any more and beg her to stop! My appointment was at 2:45pm and I was back in my car by 3:18pm. That’s right, I ACTUALLYWALKEDOUTOF A MASSAGE!!! That’s like the Pope walking out of church. This lady needs to go back to massage school so they can teach her that pressure is not synonymous with pain. She needs to know how to use her forearms to increase pressure without exerting herself, if that’s what she’s afraid of. Or maybe she’s just burned out and needs to go find something else to do for a living.

Everyone is complaining about the Living Social deals and scheduling issues. I think that’s more of an issue with the LS description and not the facility itself. With that said, this is very clean and does have a relaxing environment. My experience scheduling an appointment wasn’t terrible(you have to leave a message but they called back to schedule the next morning). My massage itself was actually pretty awful. My therapist did not listen to what I said I liked/didn’t like. She used an extraordinary about of oil that ended up making the session more gross feeling than relaxing. I have been once before this time and I remember it being decent, but his time was so bad I just wanted it to end. Will not go back.

I purchased a Living Social deal back in February for a 60 min. Deep Tissue massage, I called to schedule an appointment which ideally I wanted that same week but every time I called I got an answering machine, I left a message and once they called me back they informed me that they didn’t have anything available in the evening for at least 4 weeks, I work regular weekday hours so I prefer evening or Saturday appointments, I went ahead and booked it but something came up and I had to reschedule, again left a message, they called me back and they didn’t have anything available to fit my schedule again for about 4 weeks, I went ahead and booked it. I kept that appointment, the lady masseuse who treated me was pleasant, but I wasn’t a huge fan of her technique, the overall massage was a 2.5 out of 5. Also, once she was done, she wiped down the extra oil with a hot very wet towel, I had to ask for a dry towel to dry myself with because I was soaked, she was surprised I asked for a dry towel and said she didn’t think she had one but went out of the room and came back with a tiny face towel. The place itself is clean, the rooms are dimly lit with classical music playing, the other thing I didn’t like was the sheet to cover you with on the massage table was a super thin light sheet, I much rather prefer the heavier lush blankets.

I saw a great deal on Living Social for a hour massage. Purchased 2, for my husband and I. They called me back stating we can’t go together till possibly a month from today and only had Wednesday at 1:00 available. Otherwise even longer unless we wanted to go at separate times. Then told her I was early pregnant if I keep waiting my belly might not fit on the table(HaHa!?). She said we don’t take pregnant women it is a liability. Said she turned away a women today telling them she«might» be a few weeks pregnant. Needless to say I called LS and got a refund. Now heading to get a actual massage from a place that can take two people at once!
