First we got greeted outside the restaurant in its awful and small than most parking lots by a 15 year old kid with headphones in wearing a «security» shirt. He is dancing around listening to his music attempting to direct traffic in an out of the 10 car parking lot. Off to a not so good start seeing his unprofessionalism and a shirt that showed no reference to the restaurant. Upon walking in the first thing you notice is that every employee in the restaurant was under 18. Kind of unsettling. Whatever that’s fine. We take our seat and get greeted by our waiter Kyle. Nice young guy, probably 16. Seemed uncomfortable serving. We asked for a house salad with Italian dressing and a side of garlic dressing. He looked so confused. Once again specifying garlic dressing. He brings out the salad with a whole clove of minced up garlic. Yep. That’s a dressing apparently. For an Italian pizza place typically you would assume bread would accompany your salad. We ask. He brings out some toasted flat bread(to our surprise was another $ 4 charge on the bill). We got the Philly cheese steak pizza and a sausage pizza, I was hoping and praying for the food to be a bust. However the pizza was decent. Enough to justify a two star review. Other places in the area have certainly earned your dollar a little more. Sorry Anthony’s.

Wow! Best thin crust pizza in Ft. Lauderdale! Crispy coal fired pizza crust just the way I like it. Tasty tomato sauce with tons of toppings available. They have a huge air conditioned interior setting with a bar or if you don’t like super chilled rooms you could sit under the sheltered outside lounge if you prefer and still feel cool with the overhead fans. We ordered the small pizza — half plain and half Paul and Young Ron, which has red sauce, meatballs, sausage and hot or sweet peppers with ricotta cheese. Soooooooo good!!! The Philly Cheese Steak pizza and Eggplant also ROCKS! Find an Anthony’s near you and get down there!!!

This is an outstanding restaurant. The pizza is uncommonly good. My family and I just had the Paul & Young Ron and the White Pizza. Both were out of this world. While the parking situation truly sucks and the place is a bit pricey, the food makes up for your pain. I highly recommend Anthony’s.

I’ve passed by this place many times and it’s always full. Today, my dad and I decided to give it a try and I’m glad that we did. The service was great and so was the food. I got a cheese pizza and my dad and I shared an order of meatballs for the appetizer. If you come here, you must try the meatballs, as they are known for it. They were delicious. The atmosphere is very fun and light. It’s very open whether you decide to sit inside or out. Thy have big windows and you don’t feel like you’re missing out on anything no matter where you decide to sit. The bathrooms are also very clean.

The bar and the restaurant was packed Thursday night when I got there around 8pm. Decent menu, friendly staff and good selection of beer and wine.

I’ve always been a fan of Anthony’s(though not their pizza lol go figure)…so I suggested we go here for dinner to please my cousin who only eats pizza… turns out she loves Anthony’s so at least I made her happy :) I haven’t been to this location in several years so I was surprised to see they had remodeled, essentially cutting the restaurant in half to include outdoor seating, with a bar between the two halves. Definitely a much needed upgrade and sitting outside was perfect! Side note, the bathrooms also seemed to be recently redone and were very nice. When at Anthony’s I have to get(ALWAYS) the meatballs, the eggplant marino and the salad. So if you’re like me and don’t enjoy such well cooked pizza(read burnt) there are still other options here for you. Others swear by the wings and the tuna sandwich, oh and the brocolli rabe lol, so yes, there’s something for everyone. On this particular visit we had some celebrating to do, so both my mother and I opted for the Prosecco Cocktail(it appeals the drink items also got a remodel) and we both loved it! Like a perfect red wine spritzer! Both my step father and my cousin’s SO got beers and were pleasantly surprised by the draft and bottle options available. So yes, you can get some great craft beers at Anthony’s! Of course we got my go-to meals, along with two pizzas to share — one half cheese and half peperoni and one tomato and mozzarella. As always the salad was outstanding, my mom raved about the eggplant marino and my step father raved about the meatballs, so yes all happy campers. I did give in and try one slice of pizza, but as usual found the taste of charred dough to be off putting. PROTIP — I’m 99% sure you can ask for the pizza to be slightly under done and get rid of some of the char, but with such other great menu items I’m happy skipping the carbs and don’t bother to go that route. Overall, another sucessful dinner and Anthony’s and now that I’m aware of the outside seating section I’ll be back soon :)

We just wanted a casual night out, nothing fancy with a good bar atmosphere with food we know is consistently good, and of course… good wine to go with it. This Anthony’s location a year ago was not the place we would of chosen because their bar was small, in the front of the restaurant, used a lot by people waiting for take out orders. Since then Anthony’s has expanded to the point we did not recognize it, and the exact place we would love to hang out for a casual evening. Here is what they did. They shut down the bar in the front of the store and expanded the back of the restaurant into a huge indoor/outdoor bar along with outdoor seating behind the outdoor bar. Both the inside of the bar and the outside of the bar seats about 20 to 25 people because they made it into a large U shaped bar. The inside dining room was also expanded. In addition, they added entertainment outside, which was great, bluesy guitar player and singer, and nothing too loud. What a difference in atmosphere. The last time we went in to have dinner we saw this change and decided that the next time we wanted an evening like this we were coming here to sit at the bar. We walked in and the hostess immediately greeted us. The entrance is now by the back bar area. We saw 2 seats left at the bar at the end by the outside area and planted ourselves there. Our bartender immediately gave us the menus and got our drink order. Anthony’s used to just sell pizza, chicken wings and a their popular Anthony’s salad. They then added delicious Pork Ribs and Peppers. They have since expanded their menu and offer Eggplant, Broccoli Rabe and Sausage, other salads and meatballs. We have tried several of these dishes, and never disappointed. Last night we split the Anthony’s Classic Italian Salad, which we always get no matter what every time we go there. They really know how to combine the right ingredients. Love the Gorgonzola Cheese, hard boiled egg, and special Italian dark olives. You can have Mozzarella cheese instead of the Gorgonzola if you want, but this salad and the Italian dressing they use can be a meal for two if you order the large one to split. Last night we wanted to try some different things, so we ordered the small salad instead. We wanted to forgo the pizza last night to try some other dishes. I am not an Egg Plant type of person, but my wife and I split their slices of Egg Plant Marino. I was pretty surprised how much I enjoyed it with their tomato sauce and Romano Cheese. We also split their meatballs with Ricotta Cheese, fantastic and the dish I always love when I do not order their pizza; Anthony’s «famous» Coal Fired Chicken Wings. These are addictive. Not fried, but put in the oven with caramelized onions served with Focaccia bread. These are amazing. All this with a couple glasses of their Super Tuscan wine and it made a complete evening. I did not talk about what they are really famous for, their Pizzas, but the Pizza here is one of the best pizzas we have had in South Florida. They cook it thin, crispy and WELLDONE in their coal fired oven, with a large list of toppings to add. They bring it to the table and serve it on a large pizza rack for all to share. Writing this is going to bring me back soon for their pizza. The price is right too. You do not have to break the bank at Anthony’s to have a «class act» meal. Truly never disappointed. They have opened up several locations in Florida and around the county now, all successful. Chances are there is an Anthony’s near you, but this location with the bar set up is my favorite. They must be doing a lot right!!!

I do not like this location, they burnt majority of our food. It was very unpleasant trying to eat our food. They did not even show us how our wings and pizza look and I didnt checked before leaving.

I’m obsessed. I’m from Buffalo and we know pizza and wings. It took me awhile to admit… but this is the best pizza I’ve ever had. We always sit at the bar, and the bartenders and staff are always so friendly. I love the live music on the weekends also. Keep up the good work!

I almost feel bad giving this place 3 stars since I’ve heard so many people rave about it. The atmosphere is nice, I could definitely see this as a date place. And the service is friendly. But the pizza just didn’t impress me. We ordered their specialty cauliflower pizza and yea… just not wowed. For me, the cauliflower was over cooked and mushy(I don’t like mushy vegetables at all) nor is the crust anything to write home about. I wouldn’t mind trying this place out again, but there are so many artisan pizza places popping up around the area that it’ll probably be a while before I come back.

I have been here many times and always enjoyed myself. Tonight we were wanting a place to eat and it was late so Anthony’s is was. We were able to get parking in the lot but usaully you have to wait for the parking attendant to show you where to park. We had noticed they had remodeled the restaurant and put in a back outside bar with TV’s. I can see a crowd here on football days. We ordered the Anthony’s special salad and their famous baked chicken wings. The salad was made freash with eggs and chick peas and tomotoes, onions and a great oil and vinger dressing. We opt for the gorgonzola cheese on the side. They do charge a little extra for that. It was enough for three people. The chickhen wings came out in a hot skillet with crispy baked onions and facaccia bread. They were very crispy but not fried and meaty. We didn’t order pizza but have had it before and it will not disappoint. One of my favorite go to pizza and salad place and of course wings. The staff is very friendly and the food comes out super fast. They get very busy so they do get you in and out.

We happened upon Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza while attempting to walk(in the August midday heat, ouch!) from our hotel(the Crowne Plaza) to SE17th Street, in search of lunch. Boy, were we glad that we found Anthony’s! It was only 2 blocks or so from the hotel, and seemed like a nice, cool oasis at which to stop walking and take a breather. For our group of 7 we got a couple of pizzas, the meatballs, a salad, an Italian-style tuna sandwich, the chicken wings, and the sausage with broccoli raab. I personally got the tuna sandwich and loved it! It was truly delicious, and huge(I couldn’t eat all the flatbread, so ended up eating most of the tuna and vegetables out of the bread with a fork). Others said the pizza was very good, and we are all East-coast born-and-raised pizza snobs. My 10-year old ordered the chicken wings, and the way they make them(charred and covered with smothered onions) was not good to him. The very kind server immediately took them away and had the cook make him a more kid-friendly version of chicken wings, which he devoured. Overall, I thought the food at Anthony’s was really good, the service excellent, and the atmosphere very modern and nice. I only deducted one star because I thought the prices were just a tad too high on the non-pizza items. But I would highly recommend them!

A friend talked this place up as the best pizza she had ever had, so she set my expectations super-high. I wont hold that against Anthony’s; they didn’t say it, she did. That said, the pizza was just OK. Anthony’s is basically a pretty-good local spot that I’m not excited about. It’s a good stopgap place to eat if there’s nowhere else to go, nothing more than that. It appears they specialize more on the bar/drinks side than pizza actually. Nothing wrong with that.

Stopped in for lunch today and what a nice treat! Parking was easy and got right in. Perused the menu while waiting for my iced tea. Decided on the meatball sandwich served on focaccia bread. Waiter told me as he was walking away, oh yeah it comes with hot peppers, that okay? Sure! Perfect blend of meatball, sauce, cheese and peppers and that coal fired crust on the bread… oh man! Im going to take a nap somewhere now… service was also great, nice job guys
