Waffle House

Worst location ever. Went in too order dinner and it was pretty empty. 1 customer at the counter and 3 at a table already eating. The young blonde woman looked at me 3 times when I came in over a 5 minute period and never even said hello. She then proceeded to wander near the counter down be absolutely nothing. I asked for a menu and the customer next to me gave me his. The waitress said 3 times in a 15 minute period that’s he’d be with me in a minute. So after waiting and waiting while she complained about work being hard, I decided to go eat elsewhere. Went to Denny’s up a block, way way way better service. Waffle House was so dirty and the waitress wouldn’t stop playing with her hair near the food.

We miss living where we can enjoy Waffle House regularly. So when we travel, it’s on!
This Waffle House did not disappoint at all. From the moment we arrived until the nice waitress was chasing us down because we forgot our card, the staff was exceptional. The wait staff was kind and attentive, the food was awesome and the manager even checked on us and brought us to go drinks. Clean, fast and down home!
Our total bill was under $ 20 for an omelet, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, a waffle, coffee and tea.
Our waitress was Porsha and she did a great job.
We desperately need a WH in Gillette, Wyoming.
Perfect visit. Waffle House never disappoints!

Unbelievable how horrible the service is here. Sitting in the restaurant now. Not to mention one employee was right out the front door in uniform on break smoking and came back into work and started working without washing hands. This place needs to be visited by a health department immediately.

Stopped in here tonight for dinner while staying at the hotel next door

My husband and I are not too big on Waffle House. But we are sure glad we have this one a try

Yummy place. I always go here on the weekends and the cooks always crack me up. It’s gotten better over the years. I just don’t like the price increases… but I know its not their faults. It’s on the way home from work and is a good place to unwind. :)

The Waffle House is no upscale dining establishment… it looks rundown and dingy… the food is greasy and laden with butter… the waitstaff doesn’t say «please» and «thank you»…in other words: it’s a refreshing change from the cutesy trend. It’s diner food — large portions, filling, and non-​pretentious. The wait staff is friendly and a throwback to the 50’s. Fast service. Eat your food. Shut up. Leave a tip.

Good, simple breakfast with great prices! This is conveniently located right by the the freeway.
We were welcomed by a girl named Anna, who seated us at the diner/​bar area facing the kitchen. This is a very small restaurant, but can fit enough people.
The staff was friendly and very hard working. By facing the kitchen, I’ve developed an appreciation for people working in kitchens. They were really busy that day, but they were all in good spirits.
I tried the waffles and had their steak and eggs. Simple breakfast like I said. The waffles were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The ribeye steak was a thin slice, but it’s enough for breakfast. Also came with butter and toast.
If you’re looking for a good breakfast with good prices and fast service, this is the place to go! The place may be outdated, but I still enjoyed my breakfast.

The worst food ever. The eggs we’re watery, the bacon was almost raw when I asked for crispy and not full of grease. The price for eggs bacon and toast was over $ 6. I’ll never eat here again.

Worst waitress ever! (Elizabeth) asked for order to go it was plated, then I get to my truck and find there tomatoes on my hash browns. I asked for them covered, smothered, and chunked. Very disappointed. Tomatoes are the devils food. So I didn’t eat my hashbrowns. And that’s the only reason I eat a awful house!

Place is totally underrated, I love it. Get the hash browns with the works, you can thank me later.

The food is good and the restaurant is clean. Behind the restaurant is a Motel6 so you see transients and homeless as you come in.
The restaurant is small so if you have more than 4 people in your party, setting can be an issue.
My only real complaint is the staff will discuss office politics and argue in front of everyone. The way they do it and things they say make it unclear i they’re joking or serious which can make for an uncomfortable meal.

Service and food were what you would expect from a Waffle House!!! Your typical diner food. Where the huge problem lays is how dirty and filthy it felt inside. There were flies everywhere. All the tables had syrup on them. The place was pretty empty when I walked in. So there really should be no reason why the tables weren’t properly cleaned. I like Waffle House but never coming to this again.

The food is mediocre, but the service top notch… Theses ladies are the sweetest things. Oh and good people watching time as well.

What our waitress lacked in teeth, she made up for in exceptional customer service. However, the chocolate chip waffles were subpar. They were not fully melted to my liking. On a more positive note, the setting was exceptionally romantic given the fact that I was enjoying decent waffles with two of my best buds under the lighting of the full moon.
P. S. Alcohol may or may not have played a crucial role in the decision to eat at this ghetto ass waffle house.

Seriously, the Service!
Old-​School Diner Gals, shouting orders in their Diner Code Lingo, breakfast cooked on the Flattop right in front of you, plastic yellow booths, menus on the place mats… and Oh Yeah… HASHBROWNS. Covered. Smothered. Scattered. Chunked. More of that Diner Lingo. Real eggs, too. None of that egg-​product-​out-​of-​a-​carton nonsense.
Waffle House serves up classic American Diner fare, with a bit of Alice the Waitress love thrown in. Anyone who doesn’t get that… Just doesn’t get it.
Who doesn’t stop in at least one Waffle House on a Road Trip? Heck, I’ll drive out of my way to hit one up. And this one is well worth the drive.

I was craving for Waffle House for nearly a decade before finally making it out here last weekend. There isn’t any in California and every time I came back to Colorado I didn’t get to go to Waffle House. So this was now or never. It’s still pretty decent for breakfast. However, the waffle doesn’t hold a candle to the ones I’ve tried at say Pann’s (Los Angeles), Original Pancake House (Redondo Beach) or even overhyped Roscoe’s (Los Angeles). The batter is anemic. That’s not how I remember it. What happened? Where are the softness, the crispness, and the sweet and salty? It seemed like it was fried on motor oil. Service was excellent though. Five stars for the welcoming and attentive waitress. I just wish I could say the same about the food. I’m heartbroken.

I was visiting colorado for a week seeing my aunt and uncle for the first time in years and i was itching for some waffle house. Well, I went there and the food was great, couldn’t say the same thing for the employees. People say they greet you with a smile? Well, things weren’t when i went there.
The employees kept messing up my order. I ordered a cheeseburger melt and it took them three times to get it… and here’s the kicker.
ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES SAID TO ME «WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM» !!!
I almost called my buddies to meet me over there to teach that punk a lesson. I told the manager and he did not fire him. Terrible service! I guess that is how management trains employees nowadays…

5 star star service. But the food is about 2 or 3 stars. The girls that were working while we were there were super upbeat and friendly. Our server Grace was very nice and took good care of us.
I got a blueberry waffle with two over medium eggs on the side. The waffle was good, but nothing spectacular like I would expect from a waffle house. My boyfriend had a hamburger. The burger was very generic. It reminded me of something you would get in a school cafeteria. I’ve definitely seen and had better burgers. However, for the price, I would go back for a waffle sometime if I’m in the area.
I recommend coming here if you’re looking for something quick and cheap with good service.

Tasty, cheap food brought us here but the friendly service made us fans. This location has very friendly staff and they made us feel right at home. The portions on the food were generous — I even had leftovers — and it hit the spot on a cold day.

Now that I am getting married to the biggest Waffle House fan on the planet, I am afraid I will experiencing more of this chain than I ever would like. (scared now!!)
Well, THIS location is probably the best one I have been to (and hoo-​boy have I been to them!). Rates about mid-​way for cleanliness, service and food presentation. Why is it the best then? Well it happened to have the most AWESOME people watching ever. Truckers, farmers, random weird folks, people that may or may not have been homeless, man you got it all. That combined with semi-​acceptable coffee, bacon & eggs? I cant think of a better way to spend a Tuesday morning. Rock out, Waffle House, rock out. We shall meet again!
