My families experience with Spring Creek Health Care Center was different compared to that of the Columbine West facility. My maternal grandmother was in this one. And though certain aspects that we had a negative experience rarely turned up in this experience from what we had with my paternal grandmother; my family remained vigilant and stayed with my grandmother as much as they could. While I did not go to this facility as much as I wanted during my maternal grandmother’s stay here I did not hear the same kinds of complaints that my father came home with in regards to the Columbine West facility. Nor did I see the level of neglect which seemed very common at the West facility. My mother, myself and the rest of my family left Columbine East(my grandmother passed way in this facility) with a more positive approach as when we left West. I don’t want to be overly praising with this because sometimes nursing homes can slip into poor levels of service when staff is spread thin but as I said all of these negatives aspects did not arise in this particular incidence with my maternal grandmother and at this particular facility and that in of itself is nice because my family(including myself) have had our fair share of nursing homes with relatives and how they can regress to poor levels of service
