Silver Mine Subs

I love to come this place after gym, the sandwich is good and inexpensive. Employees is very friendly and not crowded.

Horrible service. I ordered and paid then waited over ten minutes while the employee spoke on the phone. When I asked for a sandwich or a refund he snapped that he was on the phone. I left with no refund or sandwich. I left a phone message with their customer relations department but wasn’t called back.

Wow awful! Food took forever and after repeating my entire order 3 times they gave and charged me for 2 of the large sandwiches (even though he repeated it back only once) and after being quite specific about no veggies on the kids meatball subs because they won’t eat them with veggies I got 3 all with veggies. It’s like they don’t even try to get it right., this was the second time I had the veggie issue on the meatball subs in the same week (I know I know I need to go grocery shopping)

Decent joint. I grew up in FoCo and always heard they were the best, so 15 years later I decided to try them, and it was okay. The greeting I got from the cashier guy was weird, it was a half «Hello» and half «What the hell do you want». Kind of like a «Yeah?».
I ordered the Dodge City and it was better than average. Fresh meat and cheese and the wheat bread was very good. Totally empty on a Wednesday at 12:15 so that was kind of weird, but the location is weird and I bet they do more carryout orders than anything. Clean interior and from what I could see the food prep areas were also clean and kept up.
The price was high. For a medium sub and a soda it was $ 9, but I guess that’s the going rate for lunch these days. A medium sub is perfect to split between noon and 3pm to keep from being either hungry or full in the afternoon.

I actually ran out of bread before I ran out of filling!
Even so, the meat was skimpy, and the avocado offered on the Georgetown was a spread and he didn’t put very much on.
Got maybe 4 black olive slices on my half of the sammy.
Overall, there was too much sauce.
It’s ok, but I like the «watch ‘em slap your sammy together» counter at Subway over the ones they have at Silver Mine. This counter was suspiciously covered and unwatchable by my prying eyes.

Good solid sandwiches… they go so-​so on the meat, but the fresh bread compensates. Awesome hours — till 3 am! Keep that in mind during the late night hunger pangs.

I love their sandwiches! They are always so fresh and tasty! I have had many great experiences here! I am a repeat offender! I like the fact that they are open late AND deliver!
