I LOVELOVELOVE it here! People are great a wide variety of guests coming here! I don’t feel alone being easily 50 lbs overweight and sweating my butt off running on the top track or joining the body pump. Trainers are excellent! Sonia is one of my favorites she does everything from body pump to body combat and she will push you to work out harder! I love the yoga classes really every trainer there is doing a great job i haven’t ran into anyone where i did not enjoy my workout or felt uncomfortable. Pricing is fair for what you get for sure! personal trainers are quite pricy but i heard its worth it. I don’t really know what i am doing with weights and what not so i usually join the classes if you are there for the first time everyone is glad to help you out and show you how to set things up for the class. Spacious girls bathroom with lots of mirrors and space to get ready for work in the morning. plenty of spacious and awesome showers and never out of towels. They also have hairdryers, flan irons and curling irons for the ladies to use :) Even have a daycare for the kiddos, my friend dropped of her little one and they were satisfied.

I absolutely love this gym. The hours are great for me and it is almost never packed. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Everything is incredibly clean and in great condition.

Just returned from a massage with Jessica. I’ve had plenty of massages. Jessica is certifiably in my top three. I told her an area to target, and she did so by using a neuromuscular technique. I rarely doze during massage but I obviously got very comfortable with Jessica very quickly. I experienced sweet deep daydreams throughout the hour-long massage. THe room itself was tastefully decorated and the music was very soothing. While there is some noise at times from the gym users, it’s hardly worth commentary as it’s barely noticeable and obviously faded as people move to other equipment or just stop talking loudly :) You don’t have to be a member of RAC to see Jessica, but members do get $ 10 off massage and **complimentary child care**!

This is an excellent gym. I primarily go for the weight room and I am very happy there. There’s a good community of people. You can choose to be quiet and do your own thing and if you want to, you can make a few friends too. The pool and sauna/steam rooms are good too and they have classes, racquet ball and machines if that’s your thing. A word of advice though: This is not the kind of place to fling weights around and show everyone what an animal you can be while you’re on a steroid cycle. We can spot that mess a mile away and it won’t go over well. However, if you are enthusiastic about your fitness and you want a friendly place to get your daily workout in, I recommend Raintree. It’s my favorite. I recommend talking to the front desk staff about sessions with the personal trainers. I did that when I jacked up one of my shoulders and with the help of a trainer I rehabbed my shoulder back to normal and now I lift happily and heavy again. The trainers they hire are extremely well qualified and are very helpful, good people.

Great gym. Best gym I have belonged to, actually. Can get crowded in late afternoon and early evening, but otherwise great.

I don’t really consider myself a «health club» type, but had to do something now that I am commuting to the Denver area and don’t really have time to get my walks or bike rides in during the evening(especially during the late fall and winter, with the days so short). My first instinct was to look for a yoga studio, since yoga is the one thing I have been able to do regularly in a group class setting in the past. However, as I really started analyzing my options, the RAC came out as the best value. The thing about all of the yoga studios is that they offer a bunch of classes while I am working/commuting, and not so many(or not the style I want) when I can actually attend. The RAC has a nice yoga studio attached to it, and you can either do drop-ins or classes are included in a club membership. The yoga schedule is much more limited than at dedicated yoga studios, but I figure if I attend more than 4 yoga classes a month my membership is paid for(based on drop-in pricing) and I can take advantage of the club’s other amenities as well. To be sure that this would work for me, I tried one of Jill’s Yin Yang classes before joining. It turns out that Jill’s classes are the ones that I most enjoy, but that in general I appreciate that all of the instructors emphasize owning your own practice — meaning that you don’t get that«competitive» atmosphere that you see in many of the studios. There are also occasional seminars for an additional but very reasonable cost. I am a bit surprised to say that I am enjoying some of the other classes, too. Okay, pilates isn’t too much of a stretch(har har … excuse the pun) but I’ve enjoyed some of the group fitness classes like Zumba, Water Cardio, and BodyCombat. I think what it comes down to is that the instructors do a good job walking the line between motivating/encouraging and annoying :-). Likewise for the trainers — I did a couple of personal training sessions with Alyssa at the start of my membership. I was thinking that the session that was included for new members at sign-up would mostly be an orientation to the club … and while Alyssa did show me how to use the cardio equipment and some of the weight machines, it really was a useful training session, too. The facilities are nice — remodeled locker rooms, clean showers stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, several hair dryers and styling irons, a sitting area and café up front, pool/hot tub/sauna/steam room, pilates studio, etc., but so far the biggest factor that keeps me coming back is the staff. The folks at the front desk always greet you as you are coming or going, such a simple thing that sets such a friendly tone, follow-up messages from business managers making sure that I am getting the most out of my membership, and regular events for members(e.g. currently there is a «Holiday Survivor» challenge going on) to keep motivated and build upon healthy habits. It’s a great member-focused club.

This place is pretty nice as far as gyms go. Would definitely prefer a bigger free weights section and some newer equipment, but the place does have a nice feel to it and offers all kinds of classes! I experienced Pilates for the first time! Awesome!

Love this place! I love going and like looking at the quotes all around the gym– Beautiful equipment & design! It has awesome affordable childcare, and family locker rooms. My best friend started going & I tried it with her free pass– fell in love. We found another place that was cheaper but it wasn’t as serene & clean as this gym. The RAC staff is super nice and I usually never have to wait for machine like at the CSU gym. Also I like the showers & the toiletries, I can get ready for class there & it’s just a hop, skip away from campus.

After deciding that battling other college students for work out machines at the CSU rec center, I decided buying a gym member ship was well worth it! My boyfriend and his friends had been using this gym, so i decided to use one of the many guest passes they give to members. Upon arrival, I was greeted and loved the atmosphere. They have a little shop for coffee and snacks. Plus, some work out clothes. It look me awhile before i decided to join, but when I did they pricing packages for what you could afford!(as a student, that isn’t much) But giving a discount to students is what nailed me into a contract! I did a semester membership for a great price! I LOVEMYGYM!!! Great place to relieve stress, with many options to different work outs!

wow! This place impressed me right away! I went in and signed up after the tour. Soooo nice! The childcare room is fantastic as well! The people are super nice from the members to the staff. I moved from SoCal and this is by far the nicest gym I have ever seen! Super clean, big, lots of classes included with membership. I give it an A+ =)

This is an OK place for those who are into traditional gyms. They had a lot of machines, weights, a running/walking track on the second floor, lots of classes, a pool, spacious locker room, free towels, etc. I prefer to work out with kettlebells; not only was there a meager selection, but people were not in the habit of putting them back where they belonged so that you had to hunt them down. I took the BodyCombat class; it may burn calories but anything where you have to take 6 – 10 classes just to get the footwork down really annoys me, plus my knees cannot take all that hopping around. I really enjoyed the 30-minute Core Strength class; it’s similar to the boot camp(kettlebells, TRX, stability ball, bocu ball, etc.) classes I take at a martial arts studio at home in California.
