A great sandwich is a thing of beauty. Start with fresh bread, quality meat and cheese. Add a variety of toppings and sauces piled high. Obees ticks all the boxes. Efficient, friendly service with a clean, basic atmosphere. Will visit again.

The sandwhich was good, but unfortunately we will not be back. The broccoli and cheese soup tasted like it was made with cheese wiz. The customer service was horrible. Not a single smile in the building and when we added a soup to our order the employee seem put out by our request. Nobody seemed to want to be there and even when I waved goodbye and said thank you both employees that were facing me just turned their back to me. Not a good first impression.

Great food. Amazing subs and soups. Unfortunately, the delivery takes over 1hr 20min, every single time i have ordered from them. 5 stars if they could get it here on time. If you want to eat their food, might as well just go get it yourself.

Obees was recommended by my son, a frequent patron. I stopped for sandwiches after a day trip to Pike’s Peak. I ordered roast beef & Swiss and my husband had the spicy Italian. Both delicious — freshly sliced meat and an array of topping choices. Quite pleased with the sandwiches and friendly service.

My husband and I love this place! We always get delivery, and the food has always been correct and fresh/delicious! Their soups are so good, especially the tomato bisque, and I really like their seafood salad sandwich. The customer service is always great, and the people who work here are always very polite!

Usually don’t review restraints, but this place is awesome. Have ordered twice now and great both times. Try the pastrami, it is the bees knees. Also staff was polite and professional and made good recommendations for me since I did not know what to get. One of my new favorites.

Found Obee’s thru Siri, driving along I-25 – thought it was terrific! Friendly staff that actually connected with me in the middle of a busy time. Excellent subs(get ‘em toasted if you can) with loads of extras. Next time I’ll pay better attention and try one of their special sauces. Yum!

Fresh cut meat on yummy bread and an awesome selections of toppings choices including about 20 hot sauces. Great taste and awesome service. Not too many places doing the fresh cut meat when you order. I got a cold sandwich and hubby got a hot one, both were exceptionally tasty. We will be back!

Sandwiches are delicious and packed with meat and toppings. Everything is very fresh and they have any topping you could want. Friendly service and good price.

The GM Shawn was not the nicest guy on the planet — and I think Choice City, Cheba Hut, and Deli works are better.

I ordered lunch in today. The ordering options(grubhub/online ordering) are really awesome. The food is nothing special.

Good subs, I like the bread, soft and chewy, big selection. This place is busy during lunch and the line can move slow.

I’ve been on the hunt for a good chicken salad sandwich in Fort Collins. I had high hopes for obee’s but it was honestly the worst chicken salad sand I’ve ever had. Super bland and no fruit to sweeten it up. It didn’t help that the lettuce was soggy and gross. I don’t even want to try their other selections because this one was so bad.

Good sandwich spot! I haven’t been too adventurous yet as I have only gotten the Italian sandwich, which was pretty awesome! I will definitely have to try some of their other sandwiches. I love how they slice your meat right there in front of you. It makes it that much more authentic and tasty it seems! While I like this place, there are so many great sandwich shops in this town it is hard to love just one… But thankfully this place is right next to the gym, so I may go here a bit more in the future now that I’ve found that it’s good!

I placed a delivery order and was told it would be 45 mins max. Over an hour later I called to see where my order was to find out they never even made the order. I was told«do you still want it or what» when I asked for the manager I was told he was the manager and he didn’t care if I got the order or not and they weren’t going to even make it. He then hung up on me. 16+ was still pended to my bank account for food I never even got! Horrible service. Will never order from them again.

Stopped in last night for dinner. The counter service was friendly and fast. We got our sandwiches to go and when we got home I wished I’d ordered the 16″ instead of the 8″. It was really really good. It’s a bit out of the way but we’ll definitely be back.

One word — FRESH. This place is standing out in the classical subway sandwich eateries by doing everything from scratch and the people that come here know this. Obee’s bread is baked daily, meat is cured and sliced right there in front of you, their cheese and other ingredients are fresh from local sources. You’ll taste the difference in their sandwiches versus other chains such as Subway and Quizno’s. The only reason they don’t get the 5th star is that the dining and décor is kinda weird with old board games as wall art. They use large Styrofoam cups for their drinks, which doesn’t make me feel good about the environment. Overall, the dining setting is one that makes me want to eat my sandwich quickly and leave. I would be better ordering it to-go. I’m very pleased to have this unique sandwich shop in Fort Collins and I hope for their continued success!

I have started this review about six times now. I started it with vivid imagery. I started it again with something funny. I started it again with things I have heard about this place from my friends. Then I realized… none of those things were the right way to start this. This place is just a straight forward sandwich joint. So why shouldn’t my review just be straight forward too? I love this place. Love it. The guys behind the counter are awesome. I get confused ordering cause I like watching them work. Fresh meats and cheeses cut in front of you. A case of fresh cut veggies to choose from. This is a little sandwich tailor. Made to fit you perfectly. I cant tell you what is so spectacular about this place. There aren’t 40 different herb crusted artisan breads to choose from. There isn’t anything out of the ordinary. But maybe that is just it. The chicken noodle soup rocks too. Nuff’ said.

A lot of the reviews on Feasting Fort Collins deserve second chances, particularly the reviews from when I first started. My writing has grown, my experience as a critic matured, my expectations realistic for Fort Collins(although, still very optimistic). Some restaurants made mistakes, and sometimes I was the one who made them. A few readers tried to convince me that my initial review of Obee’s was a mistake. I take comments from readers seriously. While I find it interesting that people don’t believe that it’s possible for me to have a poor dining experience at their favorite restaurant(Mount Everest review, anyone?), I’m still willing to stop by for a second review and another chance. Many people claimed that I would have a difference experience, especially if the owner was on site. Sadly, it wasn’t dramatically different and one lunch was painfully sour. I stopped by Obee’s on my way home from spending the morning at the Gardens on Spring Creek to participate on a panel discussion about young professionals in Fort Collins for city representatives visiting from Springfield, Missouri. It was lunchtime during the week and I was the only one waiting in line. I didn’t see this as a favorite spot for many as was exclaimed by reader comments. Nevertheless, I ordered the exact same thing I did during my first review — a grilled chicken sandwich on wheat bread with vegetables. Although, this time I got mustard instead of the sundried tomato pesto mayo. I also ordered a cup of chicken noodle soup as a side. Taking the advice of readers, both of my returned visits were during the afternoon and not a late dinner. I’m also assuming that Lou was there and the one who made my sandwich(I didn’t see a name identifier anywhere other than a bobble head and I’m unable to officially identify through Google images). If this was the case, my service was quite possibly one of the most uncomfortable I’ve had in Fort Collins in a very long time. After kicking around the reluctance to return, I remember the second chance I didn’t give them in the initial review. I really didn’t want to come back. I actually hated the idea of it. But, I did. I returned again with the kids after school. They split a grilled cheese and vegetable sub. I ordered a roast beef with the sundried pesto mayo. Our service was better with a couple of different employees. There were smiles and it didn’t seem like my sandwich was a burden. There was happy, authentic conversation at the register. The kids and I left smiling. That’s really all you can ask for and expect. The sandwiches were mediocre just as the one I ordered the other day. For their benefit, nothing was terrible like it was during my initial review. I didn’t feel like I was served something that shouldn’t have been. But, there was nothing exciting, outstanding, or impressive that makes then stand out from other sub shops in town. It was just a simple sandwich that could be compared to Silvermine. I may not be the most forgiving person out there, but I am willing to give second chances. I’ve learned that I need to trust that gut feeling a little more often when I need to give someone the benefit of the doubt. This review is an excellent example. My impression of their food improved only slightly, and I did take another risk with service. I really did give it another shot. I’m not going to rush back, because I’m not evolved enough for third chances.
