Maid Your Day

Samantha and her crew were very professional. The cleaning products they use are top-​of-​the-​line aromatherapy, and the entire house smelled so wonderful when they left (and for days later). I had scheduled this cleaning with her months ago. Even though she confirmed my appointment, due to my previous experiences with unreliable cleaners, I was still a little nervous they might reschedule. They were prompt, and they even stayed a few minutes more than the required time, in order to make the entire house sparkling for my relatives’ visit. Instead of using a «cookie cutter» approach, they were extremely responsive to my requests on where they spend most of their time and energy. I felt very comfortable having the crew in my home, and I will definitely be calling Maid Your Day again!!!

I will not be calling these ladies again! Extremely unprofessional and inattentive to detail.
First, Sam rescheduled on the day of our appointment, only hours before i was supposed to go meet her. Annoying, but stuff happens, I get that.
The next day, when she was supposed to come instead, she was over half an hour late, and didn’t bother to call me to let me know they were stuck in traffic. I left work early to get home and meet them by the scheduled time!
THEN, after an hour of work (I paid for 1.5 hours which is the equivalent of three man-​hours), she tells me they’re done! I mentioned that they had only worked for an hour, and she tried to defend herself, not taking into account the extra 30 minutes it took them to get here. Like… are you stupid? Because I looked at the clock when you got here. I’m not paying you for your travel time. Schedule better next time.
To top it all off, after they left I realized what a half-​assed job they did! I asked her to dust, and she dusted one singular bookshelf, leaving everything else filthy. I asked her to do the kitchen surfaces, and she left grease splattered along the walls and above the sink. I could have done that crappy job myself!
What a total waste of money and energy.

Having an autistic daughter that loves to tear up paper it is hard enough to keep the house presentable throughout the year, however being an accountant, leaving my wife basically by herself to care for the kids and house during this time of year, she needed help. I talked to Samantha at Maid your day and she agreed to help out cleaning the house prior to my son’s birthday party. Not only did they do a great job, but they were on time and had a very good attitude, something you cannot always say about some of her competitors in town.
