GuestHouse Inn & Suites Fort Collins

This hotel gets zero or negative stars in my book. The price was reasonable but the first room smelled funny, the air didn’t work, had bugs in the bed and frosted flakes under the mattress. After asking for a new room, the front desk clerk asked me «what kind of bugs were they?» Umm… Yuck!!! I didn’t pay attention when the bugs started moving!!!
The second room was better, but the mattresses were hard, the tv and remote didn’t work, the shower faucet was broken, the bathroom fan was broken, the heat lamp didn’t work and there was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. I was afraid to see what the breakfast area looked like. We will NEVER stay again. Yuck!!!

Over all, this is a good place to stay when visiting Fort Collins. Decently priced with a new and cozy feel — not too shabby at all. While it is not exactly close to campus it’s a short cab ride away from Olde Town. I would recommend this location to folks who just need an easy squeezy hotel for the weekend.
There is a bar in the parking lot… which is quite the switch from the young whipper snapper college crowd. While visiting we paid a whole $ 1 cover to see a band that looked like they were up past their bedtime. Still, it was a hoot!
The room we had was spacious and clean and there was an excellent view of the parking lot as well! Apparently, there are suites available with large tubs as well as a pool in the summer months.
I would stay here again.
