I had a radon mitigation system installed on 12÷18÷14. My radon was super high, 18. We quoted out a couple of companies and the other wanted to go in my closet, through the ceiling(upstairs floor), then outside… Drenen went in my utility closet and out. They are contractors, so they know what they’re doing… answered all of my questions, got it done and my new reading was 0.4. They provide you with a certificate of new level which is good enough to be valid for the purpose of selling your house. Yay!

So far I’m not too happy with this company. I hired this company to install a radon mitigation system. The installers showed up on time and were courteous. They worked quickly however I am concerned about the quality of their work. They tapped into a power outlet without an electrician present and drilled a hole through my wall. The guy just dismissed my concern and said he thought was up to code because he’s never had a complaint. He’s judging his work based on complaints and not builder’s code. They did not secure the pipe outside and the wind frequently causes it to move. Also, they do not send out the post-installation radon test to a third party. They do it in office. To me, this is biased and untrustworthy but I didn’t know about this until afterwards. I paid almost $ 1000 for a system to get my basement to 1⁄10 of a point below the recommended levels. Also, they don’t accept credit cards. It’s 2014… Common! They don’t tell you this until you go to pay.
