Carl is the most committed mechanic I’ve ever worked with. I was preparing to ride the Kokopelli Trail and wanted to rebuild my 11 year old Gary Fischer Sugar 2+. Carl made it his personal mission to ensure my bike was up to his personal standard. He worked hard to find parts that worked, called me to see how I liked it, and even modified a chain ring because no stock part would work quite right. He used a hammer and metal file to reshape the teeth on the chain ring so it shifted correctly. Who does that!
My bike is riding like new and I know I don’t have to worry about it on the 142 mile journey. Thanks, Carl.

I would definitely recommend Carl to anyone who was having bike problems and will call him again if needed.

Carl was great — he comes to wherever you are and either picks up your bike and brings it back fixed, or works on it right there. Super convenient, especially if you don’t own a car like us. He also was more affordable than the other bike shops in town. We just needed our two bikes tuned up, but he was honest about what they did or did not need fixed. I’m glad I took a chance on him — he’ll be our bike fix-​it man from now on.
