I’ve been eating here for the better part of a decade. If you live in collins you must try this place. The breakfast burritos are also clutch. If you dare spend the coin on a gut buster, the last one I weighed in was 2.84 lbs. The house soul sauce is so good

Potato burro. Das it mang. I don’t know what they do with the potatos to make it good and honestly I don’t want to know because it isn’t the cleanest restaurant. Last time I dined in, it was hard to take a bite without a fly trying to commit suicide in my mouth. Potato burro to go please.

WOW. That is all I can say. These are the best burritos I’ve ever tried. I was always a bit sketched out but the place as it looks a tad intimidating from the outside. But WOW the burritos, the meats(tried the chile verde and machacha), and even the salsas(the pineapple one is to die for) AMAZING. Also highly highly recommend the multigrain seasoned chips, worth the extra 50cents FORSURE. This is my new burrito place in Fort Collins. Without a doubt quality and quantity.

This small time Colorado burrito shop has been around for a while and there is a reason for that– it is damn good! Despite being relatively close to alternatives such as Chipotle or Qdoba, Big City Burrito is quite often very busy, and that is because it offers options that the chains don’t. The menu is pretty varied with many things you may not have heard of, but the staff is very friendly and will answer any questions you have, pointing you in the right direction. Here is the lowdown though. 1) There are two sizes of burritos, the regular and the super, the super is very similar to chipotle or Qdoba size(maybe a little bigger). 2) There are a lot of choices for tortillas my favorite is the jalapeño cheddar. 3) They’ll ask if you want cheese before steaming the tortilla because they put a slice of cheese on and it melts in the steamer. 4) For your meat try something new/different– they do a potato burrito, or the machaca beef is spicy but very flavorful and delicious. 5) In terms of salsa, guacamole, and sour cream it’s pretty standard, but it’s worth asking what’s good– the green spicy sauce is awesome! It’s generally loud and hot in the shop but not unbearably so. Though, it’s not really a place you’d want to hangout in for a while after you’ve finished eating. The murals on the walls are pretty cool and overall the décor feels very small time, independent, Colorado. It’s walkable from CSU’s campus and cheap enough for students so you’ll always see the college crowd, but really, this is a local favorite so there’s a fair amount of «Average Joe’s.»

It should be noted that if you love something for 20 years, there’s probably a good reason for it. Went back to my old stomping grounds recently and couldn’t resist swinging by old faithful. There’s some new murals on the wall, and a few new menu items(try the green sauce, it’s delicious) but tried-and-true BCB remains. Potato burrito = happy. Nom nom noms.

I’ve always loved their food and the laid back, friendly vibe. But they have got to figure out the Order Up situation. The last 4 – 5 times I’ve been in, I’ve had to wait several minutes each time while they stop everything to fill an order that just came in. Today at lunch there were 7 people ahead of me when I arrived and it took 20 minutes, as two huge to-go orders came in while I waited. They need to build another line for those orders or something. It stinks because there’s no way to gauge how long the line is.

Good fast friendly service… buuuutt that’s as far as it goes. I was craving the mexican food I had back home in Los Angeles. This place has good reviews and seemed to always be busy everytime I passed by. I finally stopped by one day kinda excited but was disappointed. Maybe my standards are high or maybe mexican food varies state to state. I ordered a carne asada burrito but it was far from what I expected. They used sliced cheese instead of shredded which is unusual for me, they used whole pinto beans in stead of refried making for a big drippy mess, and the carne asada just wasn’t all that great. My burrito fell apart after 2 bites and it wasn’t very satisfying. Long story short, it was the healthiest tasting burrito ever lol. If I wanted healthy, I wouldve stayed home and saved $ 8.

This is the original. There are other locations but this is where it all started. For me, the food is always fresh and the taste is consistent. I love the potato burrito and usually add carnitas to it. Get it with ranch, hot sauce, and pico and you are in culinary heaven. Really, there is no shame in getting ranch in a burrito as it compliments the potato so well. I think the beans, rice, meats, and veggies here are fresh and are made with love. Lupita is still here making her famous beans and salsa. Fresh chips and salsa are available as well as quesadillas, burritos, and the like. The price is good for the amount of food you get. There are several tortilla options from jalapeño cheddar, wheat, pesto, spinach, and flour. Lines are always there. Don’t let that discourage you from eating here! The line is a true indication of the great food that you are about to eat! If you are in the area, or not in the area, give big city burrito a try. It is worth your time money and patronage.

One of the BEST burritos in all the land… especially on Tuesdays when their Potato Burritos are on special… YUM! I always add their amazing carnitas on top of the potatoes with mild pico and sour cream but I’m crazy that way… Used to live in Southern Cal and this place is the closest I have found that even comes close to the«real deal» and not Tex-Mex crap!(sorry you Tex-Mexers you just don’t know better)! Don’t be scared of the long line out the door… A) it moves super fast and B) should be a hint that this place ROCKS!

Used to frequent this place weekly in high school and college, now it’s a MUST whenever I’m home visiting. Anyone who tells you big city is less than amazing is probably an idiot. Low maintenance, low price, BOMB potato burrito. Get a jalapeño cheddar tortilla and def get ranch. You’ll be glad you did

My favorite delivery place, hands down. Try the chicken mole burrito. The soup there, cheddar poblano, while it is greasy, is a must have.

POTATOBURRITO is delicious! I’ve been coming since I was in high school(almost 11 years) and the reason that I only give three stars would be the staff and the cleanliness. I never eat in anymore and I always avoid eye contact with the staff. The past five or six times I’ve gone I’ve been treated rudely. They seem miserable and annoyed. I order as fast as possible and get out to eat my burrito in bliss. I would recommend hiring people who genuinely want to work and strive in hospitality and customer service.

Maybe the worst burrito ever but I’m a vegetarian and this place was all about the meat. I wasn’t even offered lettuce with my veggie burrito and since when do old and soggy carrots become part of a veggie burrito. The worst was watching my guac(extra cost) come out of a caulking gun. For $ 7.50, I would have been way better off at chipotle.

I have never had any complaints about Big City Burrito in the past, and have been a frequent customer of theirs at the locations in Greeley, Denver, and more commonly, Fort Collins. The burritos are fantastic and the variety makes for a solid experience most of the time. Keyword being«most». My reasoning for such a low rating this time has nothing to do with the food, but the employees complete disregard for the patrons. The first kid, who looked as though hadn’t showered in days, decided that I was to have the potato burrito that afternoon… Not what I wanted. I went with it considering I like to change it up from time to time. He was rude, disgruntled, and constantly cussed in front of the customers, some of which were toddlers. The music was loud and vulgar, and the only kid that seemed to know what he was doing was working the register. After receiving only half the order I asked for, I took a seat in the lobby at which point the expletives began to fly from behind the counter louder than before. The greasy children working decided now was a good time to discuss the drugs they’d done the night before and what they wished they could do to the girls at the party they’d attended. Again, there were toddlers in the establishment. After one of the workers came out and rudely forced a customer to move their vehicle from the empty parking lot for«blocking traffic», I’d had enough. Packed my half eaten, incorrect order, and left in disgust.

Literally the greatest burrito I’ve ever had! So many options for tortillas, meat, and sauces. The potato burrito is delicious and worth every penny. Definitely lives up to the hype. So glad I went to Big City Burrito! Visited 09÷05÷15, a Saturday night at 8pm. Free parking in front, easily got a spot. 1 person in line. Casual, friendly staff and they offered good suggestions.

The hype is real. I had one of the best burritos of my life at BCB today. You can get a regular potato burrito and fountain drink for $ 3.99 with their Tuesday special, and it was absolutely worth it. Several options for tortillas(incl gluten free!), lots of meats, and several kinds of salsas make for an overwhelming first time, but grab one of their guides for assistance. I got a potato burrito with machaca and absolutely loved it. I could barely finish it. I was also eyeing some of their desserts but quickly discarded that plan. The line moves fast – we were standing in it for maybe 10 minutes. Definitely worth it!

The variety of tortillas alone is worth embarking on this massive undertaking of even the regular size burrito. This thing straight up sent me into a food coma. I had the chicken mole with potatoes on the jalapeño cheddar tortilla. The line might be out the door but there is a reason why.

My husband grew up in Fort Collins and when we were here visiting this is the one place we absolutely had to eat at. Big City Burrito is definitely a gem in Fort Collins. This place has been here forever. It is definitely a little divey and grungy, but it all just adds to the flavor of their delicious burritos. I had a half chicken mole and half chicken bay leaf burrito on a jalapeño cheddar tortilla. They have a ton of different sauces to top everything off, I got the ranch, spicy ranch, and spicy green sauce and it was amazing. My husband had their most famous potato burrito. Those potatoes are little bites of heaven covered in delicious ranch. The prices are very reasonable, and on Tuesdays the potato burrito is only $ 4! You can make a million different combinations out of their delicious meats and sauces and I am sure you cannot go wrong.
