Wow. Love Dan. Love the local patrons. Menu and beer/wine are awesome. Meals were fresh and tasty!

Good pizza. Great beer. Only complaint is that the place itself is tiny so you need to time your visit to avoid rushes if you are a group of more than two. That being said, I have always gotten a table in a decent amount of time.

Great pizzas and staff at Piaci’s. Massive selection of craft brews and wines. Come early or late as prime dinner hours are very busy. This spot is frequented by locals so you know it’s good and consistent. The only negative is they do not accept credit or debit cards… cash only. I’ve been here on three prior visits and have been treated to awesome pizza!

Pain in the butt, tiny hole in wall, with only 1 person working and it is cash only. I don’t need to wait 20 minutes for a damn beer.

Rolled into to town solo one evening and went strait to Piaci for dinner based of a recommendation from friends. Unfortunately for me, I was there at 8:30p on the evening of Valentines day, and they were out of pizza dough. Obviously, I’m not happy about this since I was pretty hungry, but the tall blonde guy with the glasses made everything better by offering gluten free instead of regular. I’m not a glutenphobe but why not, I tried it. Two beers and ¾ of an eaten pizza later, I was there an hour after they had closed talking and having fun with people that became instant friends. I can genuinely say that there need to be more of the places in the world. Little, quaint, good vibe, rad food and good quality. I appreciate that sort of thing. Thanks to the Piaci people that were so cool to me! You guys have a good thing going.

Was in the area for checking out Glass Beach with friends. This place is great! It’s a restaurant with good vibes and more of the mom and pop shop kind of feeling. The place is small but accountable but I would say not very good for huge groups. We ordered the Nonnie(Prosciutto, grilled chicken, mozzarella, garlic sauce, herbs)… this pizza is freaking amazing. Thin crust and you get that crunch with every bite but the top stays soft. The ingredients part of the pizza taste of good quality. I was looking around and they really take their time making the pizza(they also throw the pizza in the air too). For $ 28 bucks for a 16 inch, I say it’s worth it if you’re in the area.

Pretty disappointed. It all sounded delicious and then when it came to eating it, honestly it wasn’t great… especially for the price! The crust was weak and hard… the toppings were sparse and not very well balanced. The nonnie was really salty. The arugula salad was okay but honestly if the goat cheese wasn’t in there it wouldn’t have been good at all. And the other thing that threw me off was the atmosphere… pretty pretentious and the people working weren’t very friendly either. Won’t be going back.

Came here on a recommendation from a friend who raved about their pizza, and he’s right — we ordered the Sorrento and it was great. It came out to us quickly and other than being just a bit black on the crust for my liking, it was really good. But there were too many hang-ups that I felt needed improvement. Yep, cash only, so either come with it or spend $ 2.50 to use your own money. We were seated in the hallway part, which really sucked because it was so poorly lit. We were 20 ft from the bathroom door, and it took 10 minutes until we saw our waitress again. It’s certainly possible they were short staffed, because In that little hallway, it had to be easy to forget about us. The place felt dirty — lots of dust and grime on the wall fixtures, a big sooty handprint on the wall, a big dusty fan blowing out air from the kitchen. It smelled like the ovens were self-cleaning, which wasn’t real pleasant. And they don’t have diet soda, which I thought was really weird considering their ample beer selection. Food is great, and service is friendly if not super fast. But a lot of those little things added up for us.

CASHONLY! I arrived in Fort Bragg late one Saturday night and was happy to see this little pizza joint open past 9pm…(Fort Bragg is a small, sleepy town, and late-night grub options are limited.) I called ahead and ordered a pie to go, only to learn they don’t accept credit/debit cards. The server directed me to an ATM at the back of the restaurant… Yeah, too bad it was OUTOFORDER. When I told the server about the ATM, he gave me a sarcastic, «Oh, darn. Sorry?»… followed by a smug shrug. Lovely. So, you don’t accept cash, your only ATM is busted, AND you’re going to cop an attitude? I really wanted to like this place, but I just can’t forgive any establishment that doesn’t accept credit/debit cards. The year is 2015… Not 1702. It’s time to move into the 21st century, guys.

Now, I have to stop saying there is no GOOD pizza in California because I have been to Piaci Pub & Pizzeria in Ft Bragg. This tiny hole in the wall — not good for large groups(get take out for groups) serves up some awesome pizza(even without the cheese!) and has a really great and reasonably priced selection of craft beers. The service is OUTSTANDING — I was really impressed with the efficiency, professionalism and pace of the single waitress and the bartender(who turned out to be her boyfriend, sitting in til the actual bartender showed up early to deal with the crowds). The food comes out pretty quickly and everything — salads, pizza, beer — all really well done and delicious. Very reasonable prices and plenty of parking.

wow so I came here as a recommendation from a friend and boy did it not disappoint. I’m from Sacramento and have tried all the pizzas in town but this place has the best pizza I’ve ever had. I had the NONNIE(Prosciutto, grilled chicken, mozzarella, garlic sauce, herbs) my coworker had something that isn’t listed on the menu online but it was absolutely delicious just like mine. The crust on the pizza was perfect as well as all the toppings on the pizza. It is a very small place and it filled up quickly. I wish I could have taken a pizza home with me! I will definitely come back if I’m back here for work.

Ohhhh yeah! Some seriously good pizza! They have unique toppings and a HUGE list of beer from all over the Pacific NW(including Deschutes!) I’m talking like 10 pages of beers. They also have a happy hour from 4 – 6. We had a 12″ with 2 cokes and it only cost us $ 23. There is no host so you just seat yourself and it can be a challenge to find a seat. There is just one guy tending bar and taking orders so it may take a few minutes for him to find his way over to you, but be patient. It is worth it!

This place rules. Great local crowd. Welcomes you in. Doesn’t make you feel like an outsider. Pizza. Where to start. I ordered aG luten Free with Garlic sauce, artichoke hearts, black olives, sun dried tomatoes. It was literally best pizza I’ve ever had. RacerX beer and the Habanero hot sauce sauce is amazing.

A gem of a find in small-town Fort Bragg. Often at capacity(depending on several factors such as time, day and holiday crunch time…)…even if you find a short line the overworked but amazingly good humored servers hustle madly to get you seated while carrying armloads of the most awesome pizzas and beers you will ever find. A friendly mix of locals, usually just out of jail for some ridiculous pot offense(I’m exaggerating, come on: p) and tourists will keep you entertained. The tight fitting seating arrangements force you to interact with strangers… and you know what that can lead to! :0 … If Daniel is working behind the bar, tell him Randy from Cosmo’s Lost Coast Hostel sent you… he will make sure you get a full pint, no foam! Have fun!

This review is going to be harsh in all kinds of ways. I can’t beat around the bush, Fort Bragg has a weak restaurant scene, and in that light Piaci Pub and Pizzeria is good, but if you hold it up to any standards of the outside world, Piaci Pub and Pizzeria is average at best. On any weekend, the restaurant is tiny and will certainly have a wait. While we were waiting for our pizza many eager customers scoped out the scene and turned right back around because the wait was too long. The only reason we were seated is because we skipped out on dranks and sat outside where alcohol is illegal. We tried three different kinds of pizza. 1. FARMERS Sausage, caramelized onions, mozzarella, tomato sauce, herbs 2. NEWYORKER Pepperoni, mozzarella, tomato sauce, herbs 3. SICILIAN Sun-dried tomatoes, Feta cheese, caramelized onions, olives, mozzarella, tomato sauce, herbs Yes, I copied and pasted that right off the website. My definition of Sicilian is a square, heavily breaded and buttered, crispy on the crust thick pizza. This was its own version of lots of stuff that didn’t marry well together. The New Yorker was good, because New Yorkers love Pepperoni. Pepperoni always does well on its own. It’s an independent like lady liberty. The Farmers was also pretty good. The dough here was thin, but not incredibly soft and chewy. Kinda hard and dry. OVERALL Obviously a small town feel. Really nice, kind and genuine service. Cash only. Tiny, so the wait is always long on a weekend. Pizza is as good as it gets for the place. But really, pretty good for the town which I thought was really boring. A-okay.

Steve(owner and resident madman) is wonderful. If you want full fast service go to MacDonald’s or Pizza Hut. The food and beers are beyond belief and the kitchen is a symphony of coordinated chaos ! Avoid peak hours. Avoid tourists. But come here!

Pizza gets 5 stars, service is a 3! We came by here on a Tuesday evening and the place was packed. It was a very windy cold night and folks were out on the sidewalk. Nothing is worth that but it did prove that Piaci must be doing something right. Next day we made our way here for lunch and was able to grab a seat at the bar. We were ignored for the longest time but once we made ourselves known, struck up a conversation with the barkeep(owner?) and placed our order and I had a beer in front of me, all was well. While waiting for our pizza I amused myself with people-watching the interesting crowd of mostly locals. There was a warm camaraderie here that was obvious. Once our pizza arrived the people watching ended and all I could focus on was an excellent pizza. We added mushrooms(wild mushrooms in season) to a Farmers which was sausage, caramelized onions, mozzarella, tomato sauce and herbs. The thin crust had just the right amount of crunch and the toppings were fresh and tasty. I was shocked to find such a delectable pizza! So glad we didn’t order a large because it was so good we would have eaten the whole thing! Now I understand why this spot was so busy on a weeknight. Best pizza in town but customer service could be better!
