OH H#ll NO! Don’t go. My husband purchased a gift order on Amazon local at this hotel/spa as a gift for me. It included two days and two credits towards spa treatments. It got misplaced after we were gone for a while. When it was found, we called the hotel to book but as too much time had passed, they not only refused to honor even the face value of said order, they were downright rude, not allowing me to speak to the manager, owner. I then called Amazon who were wonderful about the refund and furthermore, said the hotel had broken the law,(face value remains for 5 years after date of purchase), but that they’d clearly done us a favor… Hopefully they will no longer offer specials from this hotel. Look at the other Unilocal on them and take your business elsewhere, to another hotel where integrity counts. Shame on them!

This is a horrible place to stay!!! Unless of course you don’t mind poor internet access! No cell service!!! And a TV that mostly just plays animal planet at which point once it’s 12am the direct tv automatically locks you out with the parental controls. I will never stay here again! Also the hot tub had a blue dirt line around the top of the tub and the phone would not dial out!!! I rarely complain about bussinesses and usually find something positive to say, but I really feel the management here needs to keep up with the times. Hello do not parental guide the TV that’s ridiculous I am a grown adult. There are many other beautiful places for just as cheap do not get tricked by the supposed cheap discount of groupon!!! This place is horrid !!!

A MUSTSTOP on the coast! Will most definitely return to this amazing place. If you’re looking to retreat and cleanse your body from the daily toxins we are exposed too, then this place is for you. Fresh, pure, one of a kind organic meals. Home grown produce with authentic Korean ingredients and flavors. $ 16 dollar meal MORE than worth the wait as Chong, owner, and her mother harvested the produce from their garden(located behind hotel rooms) and made our food from scratch! Best tasting plant-based food we’ve ever had hands down. I can go on and on about the food, room, and customer service… looking forward to our return! Thanks to Chong’s hospitality and TLC, she made it feel like a home away from home. To sum it up — best food, great rooms, good massage, nice hot tub, and awesome host!!! For sure a hidden treasure and worth every penny!

My stay at the Coast Inn and Spa was great. The people were friendly and the rooms were very unique. I loved that it is not your typical place to stay where all the rooms are exactly the same… its quite the opposite. Each room has its own personality with decorations and style. The food in the restaurant was amazing too, locally grown, organic vegetarian food cooked to perfection. Then, in the lobby there was an amazing selection of wellness and health products. The owner was there to greet our group and was very gracious through our entire three day stay. This will be the third year that our group will be renting the entire Inn and it won’t be the last ;)

My wife and I stayed here last fall and it was one of the most fantastic hotel experiences we’ve ever had. It wasn’t the fanciest hotel we’ve ever stayed at, but it had the biggest, most welcoming feeling to it. The hospitality that we experienced there was so profound, it almost made us feel like we were in a 5-star luxury resort. At the core of Coast Inn and Spa’s extraordinary warmth is the owner, Chong. We got to know her during our stay and were swept away with her kindness and care for her customers. Her dedication to healthy living shows as the lobby also serves as a bookstore on PH balanced eating, an apothecary of herbs and a massage studio with a variety of automatic massage chairs to freshen up your muscles after a long drive. Ajacent to the lobby is Chong’s own family restaurant where she offers a menu of delicious home cooked fresh, organic Korean dishes — all made to alkalize your body and balance your PH. She is so dedicated to ensuring her guests have good health that she built an 8 level water filtering system for the hotel rooms. We visited the hotel with a large group so I was able to see many of the other rooms. Each room has it’s own lovely theme and is decorated differently. Some are big suites, some are cozy and romantic. All of them seemed comfortable and inviting. The thing that makes this hotel wonderful is that it has heart — and lots of it. If you’re the type that likes the personal connection as well as the comfort, this is the place for you. (If Chong really likes you, she’ll call your room and offer to bring you some of her delicious tea. I highly suggest you try it!)

Wow, I LOVE this place! I wish I would have found it sooner. The restaurant is part of the Coast Inn and Spa, south of downtown Fort Bragg. Now, for those of you looking for a quick bite to eat for cheap, this isn’t the place for you. The food is made with very high quality and fresh ingredients, most of which come directly from the garden or the local ocean(i.e., the seaweed), and it’s made to order. So plan on getting comfortable, because the food will take time to prepare. There IS wifi available, so bring some stuff to do if you’d like. The cuisine is prepared by Chong, who owns the Inn with her husband, and also runs all of the Spa/Healing Center’s offerings(e.g., far infrared sauna, acupuncture, colonics, live blood cell microscopy, etc.). Chong is Korean, so her food has a pronounced Asian influence, but moreso than that for me, her food is absolutely full of life, nutrition, and vibrant deliciosity. For the past several weeks, I have struggled with food sensitivities resulting in eczema(I did it to myself, no need to feel sorry), so every time I eat out, I take a gamble, and no matter how inquisitive I’ve been with the menu items, I’ve usually ended up with more eczema afterwards, even at nicer vegan restaurants. Because of both the incredible ingredients and Chong’s food-combining methods(she is a huge advocate of proper food-combining and preparing alkaline-rich meals), I’ve seen my eczema finally able to heal with each successive meal. So, for my needs, finding the CapHe really has been a tremendous blessing . Prices are not cheap, but very fair, especially considering the quality of ingredients, the care in preparation, and the generous quantities(and believe me, I’m a HUGE portion guy… eh, you’ll never believe it). I’m also in love with the fact that she spiced up my dishes quite a bit since I love love love spicy dishes! The cool thing is that while the food is mostly raw, vegan, and organic, there are a few entrees available offering organic chicken or beef, so no one has to complain! I will tell you, though, keep to the extra healthy stuff, and you’ll feel phenomenal! Because of CapHe, I look forward to coming back to visit Fort Bragg/Mendocino even more now! But forget next visit for now… I just had lunch and I can’t wait for dinner!
