Really let down by the customer service. Recently brought my phone in to be repaired, I got there about 20 minutes before closing — I don’t get off work until 5 so I was rushing to make it there before 6. When I arrived and handed the gentleman my phone — he acted very nonchalant by setting my phone down and carried on his«closing duties» without saying a word to me… I informed him that I needed my phone fixed before they closed(I’ve had my phone repaired there Before and I know it only takes about 5 – 10 minutes). By the roll of his eyes and huffing and puffing he did — it seemed I had annoyed him with my presence and need of customer service. He fixed the phone, as expected it was perfect. When I was checking out, he seemed rushed which made me feel rushed and like I was causing some kind of problem — I guess giving you my business and paying $ 135 is a really big problem to him because he CLEARLY had somewhere to be as he followed me to the door when I was leaving and he left behind me. Locking the doors and hopping in his car, all before their scheduled time of closing at 6PM… I was very disappointed with the lack of hospitality I received — I understand wanting to hurry up and get outta work… but don’t treat a customer who’s PAYING you in that manner. Very unprofessional.

Apparently I have bad iPhone karma as I have smashed 2 iPhones a total of 3 times. My first experience with TechShark was really just with Trenton when he was working out of his home. I was very impressed with his knowledge, professionalism and his price. I applaud him and his colleagues for taking their business to the next level.

It is VERY seldom that I give a one star review. With the understanding that not all things are under the control of a business, good customer service is the one factor a business can absolutely control. TechShark failed miserably in the area of customer service. A few words to describe my encounter earlier with TechShark: unprofessional, childish, arrogant, and awkwardly immature. These all pertain mainly to one of the two employees there today. The second employee was mildly nice, but seemingly very aloof. Openly mocking customers and overall just being juvenile is a poor representation of your services. Being a new business in Forney, this severe lacking in customer care will not get you very far. I’m hoping this was an isolated incident — but I won’t be back to find out. On a positive note, the shark specimen in the jar at the counter was cool.

Location: Forney, Texas My wife’s tablet wasn’t working properly and I brought it in to TechShark. The tech who helped me asked how old it was, he suggested that the tablet most likely is under a one year warranty and I should contact the place I bought it from. He examined it and said it was most likely a software issue since there was no physical damage. He also explained that he could service it but once he opened it up, it may void the factory warranty. He told me to contact the seller and they would more than likely resolve the problem. The tech was very friendly and honest and for these things is why I am reviewing this business. Honesty goes a long way for me even though I didn’t have any work done by them I appreciated it. In the future if the need arises I will use their services.
