Really good fall off the bone bbq ribs. Sauce is excellent. Mac and cheese is great tasting. Very nice staff. Spotless premises. Great to have a place to go south Atlanta.

The owner was very nice. there were not many people there. I ordered the ox tails and rice macaroni and cheese and barbecue beans and macaroni and cheese. was very good the rice was seasoned well the beans were good with the vinegary taste my friend ordered smoked wings with mild sauce I ate one had a nice little kick to it

This place is awesome! Staff is friendly, restaurant is very neat and clean and air conditioned. I’ve been to other southern cooking restaurants in the area, this place far surpasses them all. I dont eat meat, so I had the fried fish… ooooo God! It was so good. They cook it to order, but the wait is still not as long as some time I have spent in a fast food drive thru. Dont let the location deter you, its well worth the drive to the location (its in the old flea market plaza, kind of off to the side). For great food, friendly service and a clean restaurant, you owe it to yourself to give Ray’s a try… trust!

I’m from out of town, and I found Ray’s on my way to the airport. This hidden gem is in a run down strip mall over next to the car wash. The people at Ray’s are extremely friendly and the food is excellent. For meat I highly recommend the chopped beef, with the sausage as a close second. The Mac and Cheese side is absolutely amazing, which the counter-​girl told me ahead of time (she was right on the money). Also, the collared greens were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Ray himself was there in the kitchen, and he came around to chat with us and make sure we liked the food. I’ll come back anytime I find myself in ATL. They’ve only been open about 9 months, and I expect this place to get extremely popular.

Very nicely decorated. Chopped pork was quite delicious. The hot BBQ sauce was not as hot as they tell you it is, but it is definitely tasty. The BBQ baked beans have a little too much of an onion taste for my liking, but that is definitely a preference, not a complaint. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

I can’t believe there are no reviews here. This place is awesome! Some of the best barbecue ribs I’ve ever eaten. Seriously. Meat was just falling off the bone, with a smoky sweetness I won’t soon forget. I’m still thinking about it days later — I will remember those ribs forever.
Dennis and the team took great care of us, even talking us out of the hot sauce (though I think we could’ve handled it — the medium had some room to go in terms of heat).
This place is perfect as a stop on your way to or from the Atlanta airport. No nonsense, great to go. If you want BBQ in Atlanta, DO NOT MISS RAY’S!!!
