Service here is AMAZING! I got a great helmet today that fits like a glove… like a head glove ;-) … and it’s all thanks to the patience and time of the staff!

To sum it up, the owner sold parts off my Hermes saddle, the stirrup irons and leathers without telling me she was doing so. I agree that this is not a place to consign items, she will take your money, the things she sold for you, and make her money in the end. She is uncompromising on the side of sold items that profit her. I wrote a previous review that might have not spelled this out, but beware all those who want to sell on consignment.. .She is not your friend. She sells to make money and she will take what she can make in the end.

I had a great experience here today. I needed some last minute things for a show this weekend. Emily was very helpful, she found me breeches, a shirt, gloves, a stock tie and a dressage show saddle pad. Then Jessica sold me her display show breeches because I liked them so much. All around great experience. They have a wide variety of all horse rider apparel and tack. Very helpful, friendly and good horse people! Thanks guys!

I LOVE Marin Tack & Feed!
They sell both for the Western-​, as for the English rider and horse. Mostly new items but also a lot of second hand. Besides tack, they also sell feed for the horse and for other barn animals and pets. They only have quality brands pet food.
They recently moved to Forest Knolls, to a bigger place and they made the place look great! You can browse around, or sit on the couch and watch a horse video/​plant your kids in front of a video while you shop :)
Now, the best part is the staff. Especially the owner, Jessica, is extremely knowledgeable about tack and clothing. She knows how to fit you with the right stuff (the right fit is everything!) for all budgets. She will let you try different brands and sizes that she rightfully picks based on your wishes and your body type, and she won’t shy away from not selling you a product if it is not quite the right fit… But leave it to her to find you the exact fit!
Unfortunately I’m moving farther from them, but believe me I will come all the way from the Peninsula to shop at Marin Tack & Feed! I love them!
