Love this place Have been coming here for years and the food is delicious. It’s a perfect restaurant for a cozy intimate meal. Three rolls for ten dollars is the best deal in town.

First and last time eating there, you can tell sushi is not fresh and old. They charged me a dollar for spicy mayo on side. I found a small hair on one of my pieces of sushi. Ginger dressing for salad was gross. I threw half my food out. If u in mood for sushi. This ain’t the spot

I WILL never go here again! I have been eating here for months, but that all changed today! Smh. So, I placed an order for pickup, thinking it would be easier than waiting in the restaurant like I normally do… Big mistake. When I arrived to pick up my order, the lady tells me it’s not ready. Okay no big deal — right? Or so I thought. After waiting 10 mins, the lady beckons to me and tell me, my food is ready. I think to myself perfect! I am starving! I get up to pay and that’s when all hell breaks loose. The lady tells me my total, and I think to myself no, that’s not right. I ask her to tell me what she charged me for and its two lunch specials, something I didn’t even order! As I try to tell her the mistake, she begins to yell –yes-Yell at the top of her lungs, that I am wrong and I did order that! Um excuse me?! Did I bump my head on the way here and get amnesia? Hmm, I think not! After she yells some more, she walks off and begins to take another customer’s order. Leaving me and other patrons standing there in shock. Needless to say I walked out and went next door and got something else. The food is good but lack of customer service, coupled with screaming waitresses is not worth it!

The rolls are chewy. There is hardly any salmon or tuna in my spicy rolls. Also a few hard pieces of rice make the sushi way less enjoyable. Definitely better places in the area

Went here for lunch, couldn’t even finish it. The cream cheese was bad(sour tasting, not even cool or cold as if it had been sitting out for weeks). I told the server and she just replied, «Well, you picked the roll with the cream cheese…» I guess it was my fault? Also to note– $ 10 min on the card, to the penny. They wanted me to keep ordering. I told them to just charge me the $ 10 so I could get the hell out of there. The soda in the can was the only thing I enjoyed from this place. I will not be returning.

I just moved from NY, and I love little cheap GOOD sushi places. I come here at least once a week and enjoy everything. I get spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, spicy crab meat, etc. I have not had a bad experience and I really enjoy the food.

Came here on a tuesday to satisfy a sushi craving during my driving course. Fast service, which was expected as the place was nearly empty, but the food was below average. My eel and avocado roll was okay, but spicy tuna and alaskan roll were the worst ive ever had. They were chewy and obviously not fresh. I dont expect 10 $ rolls to be amazing, but you can definitely find MUCH better for similar prices in the area.

Warning Warning i didnt have my Sushi Knife with me, if I did I would’ve given Sushi Koi half a star whatever you order make sure its not Una Don Aka Eel on rice the Eel was rubbery& chewy who can mess up Una Don Sushi Koi can, Una Don is a simple dish and the Bozo’s screwed that up, so I can only imagine what else they can turn upside down. DINE @ your own«RISK»

I came here for my lunch break around 12:45 pm. The place was pretty busy. There were about two people waiting for take out orders, several tables occupied, and only 1, yes, 1 waitress. She was also the cashier. I opted to dine in for lunch taking my chances that perhaps there was more staff in the back helping her. But to my disappointment, there was no one else. I waited about 10 minutes before I got hot tea and miso soup. Thereafter, I waited another 25 – 30 minutes before the waitress told me they got my order wrong. At that point, I asked for my meal to go and wanted to get out of this place. Lunch is a time where people want to get their food as quickly as possible and go. I’ve been to other sushi places where I would’ve finished eating at this point. I ordered the salmon teriyaki lunch box. It had the smallest serving of salmon I had EVER eaten from a bento box. The salad was average — in my opinion, the ginger dressing was too overwhelming. I did not have a good experience at Sushi Koi with the service or the food and will NOT be returning.

I dont know what gripes people have here but I saw none of them here. The staff was quick courteous and the food was fresh and delicious. The white rice was nice and sticky, my hibachi shrimp and chicken was great and the sizzling plate was a nice touch. The sushi special was fair but not a must have deal but was prepared well and delicious. could do without a 50cent upcharge to make crunchy but not the first time I have seen it in a sushi house. I will definitely be back

I was mood for sushi and my boyfriend wasn’t mood for it. So, we decided to go out to this place because it was in walking distance. BIGMISTAKE. I ordered Sushi Deluxe.(since I was in mood for) Personally, presentation was Japanese style, but slightly something was off. The way they cut the raw fish wasn’t look good. Amateur looking cut. That got me worried, this sushi chef doesn’t know how to prep raw fish. One white fish had little fish vein stacked on the piece. Yuck. Especially, when I was chewing a last white fish sushi piece, I felt sand in my mouth.(exact same feeling of sand when you had clam… like that. I don’t know how to explain…) Anyway, I didn’t feel CLEAN from Sushi pieces. Hard to explain. Yes, this place is really cheap eat for sushi. Nothing special. No wonder this place had B rating on cleanness. Tiffany F’s review is Right. CHINESESUSHIALERT. BTW, I ordered diet coke and waiter brought a can of diet Pepsi. Taste was funny, so I checked expiration date. It was expired. I told waitress to change the can, she brought diet coke.

I am shocked at all the negative reviews. For 20 bucks what more are you expecting? All you can eat sushi is a hard thing to find in queens and this place is great! Their spicy white tuna is delicious — and the first time I actually preferred it over regular spicy tuna. If you’re starving and craving sushi this place is awesome. Ignore the bad reviews, the menu is not limited WHATSOEVER. It’s got about 40 rolls to choose from if memory serves, nothing too crazy but you always feel like you’re getting the better end of the deal. Every time I’ve come here I’ve left so full I can barely walk. Yes, the rolls are a little heavy on the rice but who cares — leave the excess rice on the plate. All in all, if you want to pig out on sushi and not break the bank this is your spot. Just order a side of spicy mayo and start shoveling it in! Yum!

Sometimes it’s best to heed your own warning. I did not. And I live to tell the tale, fortunately. As you can see, I started my previous review with«DON’T GOTHERE». I really mean it. I thought, well … I’m gonna give this place the benefit of a doubt. I was so naïve. First of, the service is horrible, horrible, horrible. It took them forever to serve you your food(we were the only table in there). Worse than the wait was the quality and the quantity of the sushi. They serve inari sushi by cutting the inari into strips(you get 3 strips), which is half of an inari pocket. The red clams and octopus are off-color(YES! off-color) and looked like they’ve seen better days. The tamago did not look and taste like tamago. The one that takes the cake is the sea urchin. It smelled and tasted so bad, it’s like they left it out underneath the sun to rot for a few days. I told the waitress that the sea urchin was not fresh and she replied«That’s impossible, we got it this morning». Are you F-king kidding me. Do you think I was BORNTHISMORNING! Guys please … DON’T GOTHERE!
