This review is for the customer service, administrative assistance I received trying to just book an appointment and not the doctor care. It’s funny when you call doctors in Manhattan you get prompt professional service. It seems after 35 years I cannot find professional healthcare in the entire borough of Queens. I guess you have to go where the rich people live this is just another example. My normal cardiologist in Manhattan could not see me so I tucked my tail between my legs and try to find one in Queens. After going on Unilocal And looking for five star reviews I called the top five, all of them were either disconnected, wrong numbers or nobody picked up the phone. When I called this number The connection was very poor and extremely«crackily»(for lack of a better word). I hung up and called back and sure enough that’s just the land lines quality. It’s little things like this that make you terrified to go see a doctor that will gauge the health of your heart they can’t even get their phones to work properly how much better do you think his diagnostic equipment is? When I finally got through to someone I couldn’t hear their voice and they put me on a 10 minute hold I waited and waited and finally just hung up. I called back the Manhattan office and scheduled for a week later. I have had nothing but terrible experiences with the doctors offices(wait time, bedside manor, knowledge, accuracy of diagnosis, etc) in Queens. Everyone I know in the city says the same thing. Go to where the rich people go. Take your kids to where the rich people take their kids. Last week on my way to surgery the cabbie told me, «if you want to die go to the Queens Hospital. If you want to live go to Manhattan.»

The doctors here are really amazing. One Cardiologist literally saved my dad’s life. It seems to be a family run office where some of the sons are doctors, billing reps, medical assistants and an office mgr. The father figure looks like he doesn’t do much but brood and look angry. I can’t say enough about the amazing doctors here, Dr. Nabatian and the Dr’s Golyan are super awesome and caring. My only concern is that the staff is always so confusing and busy. Their phones ring off the hook and at the loudest possible volume. It is hard to speak with anyone at the reception desk because they are constantly be called, yelled at, picking up the phones etc… someone needs to do something because calling the office can be a very frustrating experience. The office doctors are associated with North Shore Forest Hills hospital as well as North Shore long Island Jewish Hospital in Lake Success, NY.
