Well over a year ago I fell and I broke my left shoulder. The doctor described it as though the bone was smushed into the socket. Yikes! I saw a trauma MD, an Assistant Professor at the Weill Cornell Medical College who was affliated with the Hospital for Special Surgery and with New York Presbyterian Hospital. The MD said it was bad but not bad enough to require surgery. QPTA was on the list of recommended Physical Therapy practices in Queens. Gail and her staff at Queens Physical Therapy patiently helped me with the full array of PT modalities cold packs, ultraound, some massage, manipulation and equpment. She directed me and taught me how to regain much of the use of my shoulder. Yes, it was work, but I am very grateful for patient and caring support. Now I hardly notice the limitations of the healed shoulder. In my last visit with the MD said I was a case study to show how therapy alone can work in certain cases. He took a final set of «after» pictures.(Blush!) Since then I have recommended a friend to QPTA and he was seen by another therapis. Many times he has told me that he cannot speakl highly enough of his therapist, Ann, and how superior she was compared to the other two therapists he went to elsewhere in Queens.

I was recommended by my doctor from Hosptial for special Surgrey to come here for PT after my wrist Surgrey. Very warming welcoming place. They take their time to go over your rehab work that has to be done and put their personal effort into it. Parking is tight in the area so give yourself enough time to find parking.
