I love Virginia. She’s accommodating and polite; she works quickly and efficiently, and she makes you feel comfortable.

Virginia literally changed my life! Because of whatever stupid hormonal imbalance I have had facial hair for years, desperation and depression caused me to visit Queens Electrolysis. In 2010 I had my first laser treatment. I had terrible dark spots on my chin and neck. After my very first visit I saw a major change in my skin. I had a treatment as recently as last month (⁵⁄₂₀₁₅) and my skin is smooth and clear. I’m so grateful to Virginia!!!

So she is quick! And she also ices and gives you proper after care. Which includes drying alcohol, ice, witch hazel and best part… Wait for it … FRESH ALOE VERA! She shocked me when she took that out, I was like wowwww! Not like any other place.

Fast, clean, friendly, affordable. I am so happy I found this place. It is not close to where I live but it is easy to get here by subway. I would certainly recommend it to everyone. I had electrolysis for 10 years now and went to various places including one that charges $ 90 for 15 min and trust me this is the best you will ever get.

SOOOO glad I switched over from another electrolysis to Virginia! She works very fast and effectively! My main concern with the electolysis I went to before was that she was pulling the hairs out! Virginia does not do that at all. The hairs slide out and another plus is that she works fast so more hairs treated in that amount of time. She has long hours so finding a time that would work for you is easy. I’ve only been going to her for about 5 sessions and I am already seeing results, Thank god because facial hair is not something I want to deal with anymore! She’s also very close to the train.

This is not exactly true as I was always a very happy client of Virginia but only now that I moved from New York to California I really realize what I had.
When it comes to electrolysis hair removal following factors are the most important:
1. By far the most important factor is whether everything is handled in a clean and sterile way. Does the person unpack a new needle before inserting it into your hair follicles, is the needle discarded afterwards, etc.
2. Is the person fast? You pay by the minutes and not by the result. Hence, it is important that the person removes a good amount of hair per minute.
3. Is the person skilled and knows what (s)he is doing? In order to be effective the hair has to slide out of the follicle. If you feel the person is rather plugging them, then they will grow back and it did not make a big difference if you plugged them yourself.
4. Price. What is the $-amount per 15 minutes?
In all those factors Virginia is highly reliable, skilled and affordable.
My last point is of course dependent on both individuals but I personally also felt very, very comfortable with her and loved to chat with an intelligent woman. Sometimes I was not in the mood to chat and she could sense it, too, and we both just enjoyed listening to the radio or the silence.
