Excellent food very fresh I had linguini Marechiaro so tasty and fresh seafood. Service is excellent. I will come back :)

This is not a legit pizza place. It’s extremely depressing how mediocre their food is. I don’t know why or where these people are coming from writing these 4 – 5 stars reviews. Its a total shame because the place is very cozy and clean. The few times that I’ve walked in here, I always end up regretting it. Do yourself a favor and walk to Austin St or Queens Blvd, cause this place just disappoints. As far as the pizza goes, they only have plain, on top of plain, on top of more plain. Then amongst all of the plainness, the pizza is thin… paper plate thin. Their chicken roll sucks too. Its too big and stuffed, sometimes, bigger is not better. The breaded chicken looked and tasted awful, and the cheese wasn’t even melted after it came out of the oven, because it was over loaded. I usually give in for my kid, but not anymore. Today was the straw for me. I love pizza too much to keep being disappointed, nobody who loves pizza deserves this. Nobody.

Always good pizza„ always generous with the topping, always promptly delivered. Everything else on the menu we’ve tried has been good too.

3 stars for being open during the blizzard we just had. The food(got pizza, chicken roll, and garlic knots) was nothing to rave about especially for the price that is charged. Will definitely try other places in the neighborhood.

Good food, nice wine, honest portions, Italian hospitality(though they are not Italians.) Highly recommend. Price is good! Just walk about ten minutes from crowded and often overpriced Austin street, by Yellowstone Blvd, corner of Dartmouth.

They have ok pizza, but you can get better. Also, no Italian ices. I was in here the other night and I heard about 3 people ask for them. CATCH A HINT!

Personally, I love the pizza. The crust is PERFECT. It’s doughy, yet a little crispy. And they put the perfect amount of cheese. The crust and cheesiness of the pizza is why I keep going back! I don’t understand why the other reviews were so mediocre. The price point is good and the pizza, and garlic knots, are good! I have never sat down — I’ve always taken the food to go, so I can’t comment on their customer service. I just REALLY wish that they would join Seamless or GrubHub because I think the apps make it so much easier. I hope they’re reading this, haha. :)

The place is nice and the entrees I’ve had are good though a little on the pricey side. The pizza not so much! Pretty mediocre for NYC as far as regular pizza goes(the chicken slices I thought were ok though). If you want really good pizza in Queens go to Dani’s in KG, the entrees here are more worth it than the pizza.

Mike’s has been here over 20 years. Located on a little strip of stores on Yellowstone Blvd. The pizza is ok. Nothing to write home about but worth checking out and worth stopping in for a slice once in awhile. Metered Parking in the neighborhood.

Should be zero stars. I just ordered a pizza from Mike’s Pizza today 12−05−14. The pizza was undercooked and partially raw and tasted awful. I’ve had pizza and pasta dishes from Mike’s before and the pizza was fine. This time it was horrible. I called up and spoke to Kiko. Apparently the guy who made the pizza. I wanted him to replace it. and I explained the situation and he was just plain rude. He said I didn’t know what I was talking about. He said, he makes 300 pizzas a day for the past 30 years. Well Kiko, it’s time for retirement. I will never order anything from this pizzeria again.

We went here when Lillian’s was closed for vacation. The food was ok but not that great. Pizza and lasagna ok. Ravioli a bit bland. Had a speciality pizza with chicken that was a bit dry. After ordering we noticed a pipe leak in the ceiling that was dripping into the food preparation area. The staff was kind and friendly to us.

This pizza place has been around for a long time. It’s just not that good. They have desserts in a display case that looks like they seen fresher days.

Should be zero stars. Pizza is meh. Owner is RUDE even by pizza shop standards. The only reason this place is in business is due to its proximity to tremendous apartment complexes.

I don’t normally take the time to write reviews unless I am blown away by the food and service or disgusted by it. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. The waitress was incredibly rude. She ignored us when we came in, and we had to ask her for menus and a high chair for my 17 month old. She was sitting in the back corner of the restaurant, too. Then she got my husband’s order wrong and denied it. She even said, «You told me red sauce. You must have said something else in your head. I even said the order back to you.» She didn’t. The food was also bad. I ordered chicken with sausage and peppers. It was like eating a salt lick. The broccoli that came with it was also extremely overcooked, I thought that since it was so soft, I could feed it to my baby, but it was so gross my baby spat it out. Pizza was also mediocre. Go anywhere else but here.

Really good pizza and good service. Delivery is always fast and courteous, but eating in is an option as they remodeled a few years ago and its very pleasant inside(they have waitress service too). They also have very good rolls(chicken, eggplant, spinach, etc.). Haven’t tried it, but friends have had the tiramisu here and say its very good!

Mike’s Pizzeria & Restaurant has been servicing the Yelowstone Blvd area for over twenty years and my guess is a few years north of just twenty. Some things have changed at Mikes and some seem the same. Inside the décor has completely changed from an A typical NY pizza parlor look(a lot of red and terracotta colors) to a more modern design. That is the Change. What has stayed the same? Since grabbing my first slice at Mikes to my last which was yesterday, the pizza is the same. The slices still fashion a doughy crust has your jaws overworking for this simple act of consumption. The cheese way quite good and the portion was a heavy hand toward more cheese than less. The sauce is thin in flavor but balances well with the cheese. Entrees are always a fair value for your money. Additionally on this day, I ordered a Stromboli to go. Nothing to say in terms of being overly good nor overly bad. Just standard operating procedure at Mike’s. I think that is why they remain to this day. In the infamous works of one George Castansia when promoting the potential spot for intern for the young man who wants to be an architect, yet has a 2.00GPA… «Not showing off, not falling behind» That is Mikes in a nutshell in my opinion.

The perfect way to undo the health benefits of a four mile run is to down three slices of cheese pizza. Mike’s happens to be along the cool down part of my route, which spans a nearby cemetery. On the assorted Friday evenings I’ve visited Mike’s for take-out, the tables have been mostly empty. The take-out and delivery side of the business was much more prevalent but for those looking to eat in, the interior lacks the dirty neon feel of Penn Station and Port Authority area slice joints. In other words, you can have a comfortable slice, soda and sit down in a pleasant setting. I’ve spotted pepperoni and veggie pies, along with rolls and calzones, all waiting for a quick reheat in the oven. The full menu includes pasta plates too and all the standard fare you’ll find in pizzerias across the NYC area. Service has been friendly, although the waitress seemed fairly underutilized with the limited number of customers. They tolerated my sweaty disgruntled appearance as I dripped sweat on the floor and chair while waiting for my slices. For that alone they deserve a star! If you’re running(or walking) in the area, Mike’s delivers a decent slice that has never been burnt, salty or overloaded with cheese. Calories burned are quickly reclaimed thanks to Mike’s Pizzeria.

The plain slice is lacking and so… I cannot support. If i wanted to shower pies in topping just to make it worth eating i’d call dominos/pjohns. Lillians pizza is a better option and is a walk away, located slightly off of yellowstone.

This place has that homey pizzeria feel to it, like the kind I was used to growing up in the 90s. And it has the goods to back it up too. Besides the yummy pizza, their penne a la vodka was damn good.

Guest Reviewer — my son. This pizzeria has a lot of different types of pizzas. The price is not bad. I like the crust because they have thin crust. Once, I had a very floury crust but it wasn’t bad. Will I go eat there again? YES!
