Dr. Fundo is an amazing dentist!!! I had an emergency and him and his staff squeezed me in to their already packed schedule. Not only did he relieve my pain but he completed the root canal. Most dentists would have waited for the insurance company to approve it, but he did the opposite and took care of everything! I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a perfect dentist! I have had my share of horror stories and Dr. Fundo made me feel as comfortable as possible! I have definitely found my new permanent dentist!

I absolutely loved Dr. Fundo! I’ve always loved going to the dentist (not a lie!!) so I didn’t have any fear or anxiety during my visit. I just received dental insurance after not having any for five years so I was a bit worried to know if anything bad was going on. The office is very accessible. A block away from the 71^st/​Forest Hills train station and buses. Everything about the office is super cute. From the entrance to the waiting room which is decorated in a retro/​modern style. Very immaculate! Loved it. The receptionist is so adorable and friendly. Was offered a beverage as soon as I came in. Never experienced that before in any medical office. I arrived about 20 minutes early to my appointment but they took me in right away. I love not having to wait! The assistant got me set up and Dr. Fundo came in and introduced himself. There’s a t.v. in the room and he asked what I would like to watch and made some jokes about patients wanting to watch the cooking channel. The t.v. is a great idea for anxiety ridden people. He made it known that he read all of my health history and information that I filled out on Zoc Doc. Took very thorough x-​rays. After they were taken he spun my chair around to show and explain to me every detail that I was looking at. I loved that. No other dentist I’ve been to has ever done that. Dr. Fundo is so precise and detailed. He explained everything that he was doing in my mouth. Always was asking if I was okay. He even gave me a hand held mirror so I can look to see what he was doing in my mouth. LOVED that! He uses four handed dentistry which is great. He explained things to me that I always wanted to know but no other dentist seemed to want to explain to me. I had the most complete exam and cleaning I’ve ever had. I really felt great afterwards. I had always suspected that I may be grinding my teeth but I didn’t bring it up. He did confirm this for me though! They give you such a cute care package when you leave. What a wonderful experience. I can’t wait to go back in six months now that I have insurance!

Very friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. All things a dentist should be. Plus, he doesn’t do «dentist-​guilt» like most doctors but gives tips and pointers for a healthier smile. I appreciate that. :-)
Also, he put in my crown, emergency work. They fit me in, were understanding, the tooth is strong and fits perfectly! It even looks better than my original tooth! Lol.
Plus, how can you not love a guy that blasts country music in the office? #justawesome

This office is great! Dr. Fundo and his staff were so warm and accommodating. I’m not a fan of the dentist in general, and I needed a root canal done. Dr. Fundo was superb! The injection was painless and the whole procedure was way less «scary» than I thought it would be. The assistant and Dr. Fundo explained and reassured me every step of the way. Then even offered me a chap-​stick during the procedure to keep my lips from drying out. I’m very happy I found this office. Highly recommend!

Dr. Fundo is great. He’s very nice, gentle and explains everything he is doing. He makes sure his patients are comfortable and know exactly what to to expect. I have never been a fan of the dentist but Dr. Fundo puts me at ease. If you’re looking for a professional, kind and talented dentist he is your guy. So glad he took over the practice as my experience prior was not good. Note his team is also great.
