Subway

Quite possibly the slowest subway on the planet — drive through takes around 5 min per car. Park in the lot and order inside to cut your order time in less than half.

Sandwiches are always great. No issues there.
The last time we visited Subway, the customer service sucked and I wrote a review about it.
However, when we visited on Friday, a kid named Patrick gave us SUPERB customer service! Not only was he super pleasant and attentive to us, he was handling all of the drive-​up orders as well. The girl at the register just stood around like a moron and another girl, nametag said Mary Ann, walked around looking clueless and made her own sandwich, which interfered with Patrick’s ability to maintain efficiency. He was never short with us or with the customers on his earpiece. He communicated that he’d be with us as soon as possible as we approached the counter and continued taking the drive-​up order in the meantime. Seemed like he was doing the work of three people. Most kids in the situation wouldn’t have the skills or patience to handle things professionally. Patrick did.
Anyway, Patrick gets 5 stars! He should be promoted to manager and those girls working with him should take a lesson from him in how to do their jobs the right way! Great young man with excellent customer service skills.

Not too bad of place, the drive is pretty handy. They rarely mess up my order here.

Everytime I’ve gone here I’ve had bad experiences. I am usually the only one in here, yet it takes them about twenty minutes for them to prepare my sandwich. This NEEDS to be fixed. And they also have gotten my orders wrong, multiple times. I no longer go here due to the bad service. You’re better off going to the Subway in Walmart.

It’s a normal Subway, except it has a drive-​thru!!! How many people can say they went through a Subway drive-​thru? You might think that it’s odd, and it kind of is, but it works! The person taking the order stays with you on the intercom until you’ve gotten your sandwich your way. It might make just as much sense to go inside to order as it’s not any quicker (especially if you’re waiting in line behind someone) but it’s a unique experience.

I thought I’d just get this Subway on the « Unilocal map» and drop a quick review. Who knew Subway’s offered Breakfast Items til 11AM? Not me that’s for sure. I had their Steak and Cheese + Egg on their «Flatbreads». It was very good, open to all the usual toppings. I had it Toasted with Pepper Jack, Bannana Peppers, some Tomatoes and Mayo. Made for a nice breakfast stop. Anyhow, this place is right next to Forest Grove Inn, a rock’s throw away from the City of Forest Grove/​City of Cornelius boundary. I imagine this location will see a lot of business once the WalMart generates a lot of attention on the North Side Adair St (Cornelius 1^st Ave-​4^th Ave), just across the street. We’ll see.
