Next Dimensions Bakery

Stopped in on a Saturday evening to buy donuts for the next morning. good prices. also bought some cheesecake and a slice of layer cake. The owners gave me the last piece of another layer cake with chocolate and cream for no charge, it all is the bomb! The cakes amazing. Not to mention nice people! So happy to see a good bakery in the Grove.

What a complete disappointment! I ordered a custom cake for my granddaughter’s birthday over a month in advance. The morning of her party, they called to say that day before had been crazy busy and could I pick up my cake later than 12pm. I said 4 pm would be the latest I could pick it up. At 3:45 pm I get a message that he had thrown his back out and couldn’t do my cake! Our guests we already arriving and I had no cake! I drove down to Sugar Mama’s Bake Shop and the owner had a beautiful cake ready in one hour! She saved the day! I will never do business with New Dimensions Bakery again! Buyer beware!

Where do I start… I had a wedding cake made by Next Dimension Bakery that was a very disappointing sight. There were more wrongs with the cake than there were rights. I ended up receiving a 3 tier triple layer cake, brown in color for the frosting, & ribbon around the bottom of each tier that looked like a toddler took on the ribbon cutting task. When I went in for the tasting I ordered a 3 tier double layer… strawberry cake with raspberry filling, white frosting & everything on the cake was supposed to be edible… ribbon isn’t edible. Very VERY dissatisfied & would never recommend to anybody to pay the money we paid for what we received. Also very rude when we called to ask why it turned out nothing like we had ordered… got told by Next Dimension Bakery that «why didn’t we just make the cake ourselves then if we could do a better job» Good grief!

Unfortunately, Kristina, I don’t see any other way to do this than to update my review. I really have no idea why you decided to change your comments back to me a month later. You added in additional information that is even farther from the truth than the first stuff you sent. It was well over a month ago that I dropped this whole situation, and hoped that you would have done so as well. After seeing other reviews on here that people are leaving you today, I see that you are trying to save face.
Please note that I NEVER had a text conversation with you the whole time we communicated. The ONLY text I ever received, was from one of you saying that you would never be calling me back. This was after I found out our order was cancelled even though we were told our date was reserved for us by Rob. I don’t think that you have anywhere the communication with customers that you think you do. And no, you did NOT let us know that Rob was running late to our initial meeting. Again, poor communication and customer service. (Which I find funny that you just sent me something via email admitting that you failed to let us know he was late and that you guys need to work on communication.) If you guys were a little more organized, you would make sure to be more up front with people and have them sign a contract before you start talking about orders and making promises you can’t keep. I was absolutely not asking for anything difficult, just basic information that you’d think any business would have provided in this industry.
We couldn’t be happier that we went with somebody else. Again, you claim you helped us out with that as well when I denied your help every single time because we were completely done with you guys. Based off of others reviews, it looks like you and Rob still have a lot of work to do on your communication amongst yourselves, as well as learning how to properly and consistently communicate with your customers.
I wish you well and would appreciate if you stopped making up things about our situation to make you look better in your eyes. I’m sorry you can’t keep everybody separate, but it’s not fair that you make up stories in the process.

In the long run they did the right thing to correct all of the issues.

They are people of integrity and they keep their promises.

Everything I have ever had from here has been awesome! Bird seed bread, blueberry pie, cheese cake, and blondies! Would highly recommend ordering from them.
