The ONLY thing good about this place is the fast delivery and for having a convinient website to order from, which most Chinese take-out places do not tend to have. I always hated not being able to find a proper menu to order from when I don’t have one at home and there’s none online. But they have a very clean cut website that you can even order online from. But onto the food itself… TERRIBLE…ABSOLUTELYTERRIBLE. I work at a company nearby the restaurant and we had a meeting during lunchtime, which of course meant we get to order food. We decided to do something different and the delivery and order time was quick. I ordered the Roast Pork Egg Foo Young and when I ate it, it was like I just swallowed a spoonful of old oil/grease…Absolutely NOFLAVOR in the Egg Foo Young and all I literally tasted was the nasty oil down my throat. The fried rice I will say wasn’t too bad, but my meal came with Hot and Sour Soup for the lunch special and that was also bland… Honeslty there was no real flavor to anything I had… My coworker ordered Chicken and Mushroom and hers was literally drenched in soy sauce. IF anyone were to tell you this is good Chinese food PLEASEDONOTBELIEVETHEM… The place is FAR from anything Chinese related at all. Looks like Chinese food but definitely does not taste like Chinese food at all. I’m VERYDISAPPOINTED. The worst part was that I got a HUGEMIGRAINE from the terrible grease and I normally NEVER get migraines. I eat a lot of unhealthy food, but this must’ve been VERY unhealthy for me to get a huge migraine… This place may be cheap and quick, but I will NEVER order from here again. I would rather order something slightly more expensive and slower for better tasting food.

Ling’s is fantastic quality Chinese take-out/delivery. Favorites include Buddha’s Delight with tofu, veggie lo mien, and garlic eggplant. For appetizers, you can’t go wrong with the steamed veggie dumplings — they season the accompanying soy sauce with scallions and sesame seeds. The egg drop soup is comfort food at its best. The woman behind the counter(I just call her Auntie) is sweet and remembers you personally. Once you become a regular, she’ll make recommendations based on your tastes. Word of warning — their Thai menu(at least, their pad thai) is as bland and flavorless as their Chinese menu is delicious and awesome. Stick to their Chinese food!
