I’ve been here a few times. Once for a wedding, which was really nice. A few times for skating. Their skate floor is not well kept at all– there are a lot of gouges and scrapes that make skating downright dangerous. The last time I was there, my skate hit a rough patch and I went down and damaged my knee very badly. I would more have blamed myself, but I went skating at a rink in Milwaukee the week before which had a finished wood floor and I had no troubles there. I think that a place that uses their skate rink as a banquet hall and dance floor should rethink a little. In their favor, they have little wheeled walkers for rent for beginning skaters; which is a nice feature, but they don’t control them very well and many children turn into menaces with them. I give 3 stars for the overall experience, which is not bad, but the floor and lack of supervision hurt it a lot.
