My husband and I stayed here on a whim and the lobby is absolutely stunning! It’s a very old hotel and it’s been kept up pretty well. The room lacked the same grandeur as the lobby, but it was still a nice space and fairly comfortable. Our primary issue was that we arrived in town pretty late in the evening, and the room service and attached restaurant were no longer serving food. There was not one food place open to grab a bite from, so we went to bed pretty hungry. The complimentary breakfast was great and had basic food options.

This is a beautiful old hotel that i stayed in with my parents while visiting for my Grandpa’s funeral. I was disappointed the room didn’t seem to have enough outlets for powering phones and such things. The first room we were in had several issues with the air conditioner not working, and after we switched to another room during a street concert right outside our window, the AC worked almost too well and it was kept cold no matter how low it was set to. I enjoyed the fact that the hotel was so old, it used to be the Ramada, and still had the roof-sign from that, but the other signs had been changed, so it must have been a rather recent takeover. I would have taken more photos of everything except I’ve been having issues with my phone and it kept dying when ever i photographed anything(so frustrating!) I was well pleased with the indoor pool area and workout space(tho i only used the pool area). I heard they sell passes to the locals there to use the pool and workout space which is pretty cool! Altho they need to put wifi in that area as well, i had to go out into the hall to get any kind of signal to the wifi. They have a breakfast in the mornings, that you have to get a pass to at the front desk, and I only went to it once, because it was soo early, and I just don’t normally eat that much when i wake up. I wish the room had a fridge in it too, but thankfully the front desk let me use a bit of their space for things.
